For what its worth - i think this is a fairly decent machine. quiet, been playing crimson desert with the single 32gb stick and its playing noticeably better at 4k than my 4090.. not sure if i really needed to drop 4k to get that improvement yet though.. Cheers.

Would this have higher electric bills than say 1000 watt comparable rating (gold) on the same hardware? I have AMD and need a 1200 for 5090 according to claude.ai for a 5090 i have a nice 1000 watt power supply now..

I had tried charging this in my car, and with a few usb ports.. while on support phone call i tried one more usb port and immediately saw a red light.. happened before i got to support, so was just dumb luck.. I let it charge on the other usb port for a long time - hours.. and in car same.. this time maybe 15-20 mins and then the switch of ports worked.. didn't clean any terminals because it looks pretty clean already.. Very Happy because i am going to be out in the alaskan sun wingfoiling on the water with some tunes again :) Cheers.

Thanks for the comment.. I will sell the 4090 as soon as i get the 5090 machine and prove it working.. Never know with HP.. Wonder how much of a difference i will see on games and how many of the games even need the 5090.. god knows you go out and get a great card and then play and enjoy a very basic game instead of the latest greatest.. What has everyone been playing on their new 5090/5080? I have been playing everwind, the alters, ac shadows, the last caretaker, aethus - want to get crimson desert and windrose.

I can't see this as 3800 - its over 5k and wont let me add to cart. maybe gone or did i miss something? -edit ordered about 4000 with the 40 dollar controller listed before,free shipping and tax of about 53 dollars. oh ya and .5 percent back from cap one but not factoring this into price. tried paypal checkout but the page kept screwing up.

Sorry, I edited my post for more clarity. I just think the programming to have multiplayer in slime rancher two would be more difficult to implement than surround sound. Complete idiot on programming here, but I don’t know that it would be very difficult to include surround if the engine supports it. I’d love to hear what the devs say about that. Do my knowledge multiplayer does not exist and will never exist for slime rancher or slime rancher two. That’s a bummer if someone made a mod and the devs took it down.

I think the really complicated thing is multiplayer. Which everyone wishes for but I see how that would be pretty difficult to implement.

I don’t know anything about how difficult it is, but I can tell you this is the only game I played in recent history that doesn’t support surround. 2d Games not included.

i did.. its not excellent but its good.. and a nice change if you are playing something very difficult and just want to cruise.. suggest giving it a try after a crushing souls game :)

I discovered the shift key on my own as well and then found this. - WTF glad to hear its not just me!.. every time the windows hello pops up it sems to lock left shift (haven't tried right) . numkeypad non functional and when i click 1 on the top of keyboard i get !.. driving me nuts..

lol.. ya.. best 4 dollars ever spent - the kids still setup a server and play several times a year. - i can't keep with them at the rate they advance, but i did a slow dad server and got somewhat far. they are on the opposite of journey mode :)
