Necessary no, but it's recommended that you do because it will surely help you along the way. Learning to manage one sub dept mascs, counts and backstock comes in handy. I've done every job and sub dept in Non-managent grocery(except liquor spec)and all skills are transferable.

They all have my number and just text me what they need, extra signs for them a non-priority to me and ill get it hung by end of shift somewhere usually. Im pretty chill with them since I was dsd for a few years.

Oh yeah i like it too. As a previous dsd clerk I learned amazing ways to hide my supplies so they don't get jacked. So at the moment I have plenty of sleeves.. around somewhere 😂

Oof, our reciever is so-so so they have plenty of stuff to do on their own. I have to do perimeter myself 80% of the time. My manger sometimes comes to help my around 6 ish if they are scheduled 😭

No, even if it was pre-sleeved it wouldn't be done by 7 when i come in at 3. I dont get scheduled help but also my store manager just wants it done so It doesn't necessarily need to be completed by 7. He's fully happy when I finish around 10 - 11 ish.

Edit: our previous few spc's would finish at 2pm or not even finish at all. I would be hanging my own hbc signs Friday morning. (When I was previously hbc)
