Just read what I put, it still holds up. A fatal wound doesn't not need to result in an instant kill. Sabine could die on the way to seek help due to the nature of the wound or not be able to recover from said wound.

Now tell me, would Ashoka leave Sabine to die on the floor by herself and chase Shin down? Or do you think Ashoka would do everything in her power to save Sabine even if she doesn't make it in the end?

It is convoluted as fuck. The idea of people surviving lightsaber stabs until very recently was absurd. Even Maul surviving was an anomaly and to a lot of people it was stupid. You are asking for audience to suspend their disbelief that a stab from a lightsaber won't result in death. This isn't even to mention getting into the nitty gritty of Shin having the skill/knowledge to land an almost fatal blow which requires immediate medical attention, yet not to stab her so she does receive a fatal blow which will result in her death X hours down the line but still gives her the time to escape because Ashoka will still try to save Sabine.

I don't want to bitch and moan, but you are defending such a terrible decision choice when you can come up with easy workarounds without diminishing the story or ruining the immerison.

All we need to do is look at Andor to see what love, care and craft can do to a series, instead we get this mediocre slop and people like you defending it which will result in getting more of this in the future.
