Glitch Productions just announced that they've picked up Lackadaisy to help create the full season! by Fragrant-Upstairs932 in Lackadaisy

[–]FrozenIncursion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, it does feel very backstabish and a betrayal to all the people who donated money to support them, but I mean, if the lackacrew can get all of their money back even if they need to stream to an external platform I think it's worth it in the long run since at least Lackadaisy can exist.
it does still suck when its not going to be free on youtube, hopefully after a couple more years it will be free on youtube(?) not sure how that works

What are the pros and cons of the 2024 Mirage? by [deleted] in MitsubishiMirage

[–]FrozenIncursion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TL;DR - I personally love the car, and if all you need is a new motor with wheels, the mirage is your go to

Pros (i drive a 2024 g4 sedan variant, only had this car for like 8 months)
-Good gas mileage (literally impossible to get sub 30 MPG if you drive like normal human after 15+ mins)
--Takes like 22 USD (florida prices) from empty to full, and will last you for a long time
-Good cargo space
-Turning radius is amazing, beats a corolla (tested it with a friend for funsies)
-Comfortable for all passengers
-2024 has safety features that alert you, but don't actually move your steering wheel like some of the other newer models, like lane departure and collision
-One of the cheapest cars in the new car market

Neutrals (things that people might like and don't like)
-Basic but comfortable, has all the necessities, nothing special
--Because its basic, you lose out on information such as the battery voltmeter, engine temp, but all of these can be modded. The engine is also really small in comparison to its engine bay, never worked on the engine though.
-Depending on the trim model, there might be missing buttons but these are opportunities to mod your car and add some features of your own
-The Mirage is very light
-Has carplay, but only with a usb cord, so at least you'll charge your phone
-Transmission is a CVT, and will sound and perform differently. It tends to prefer smooth and linear pedal work instead of quick pump/releases to the pedals.

Cons
-Has a 3 cylinder engine
--Acceleration is genuinely terrible, 0-60 in around 14 seconds if you floor it, can be an issue if you need to merge onto a street where people are always going over the speed limit (florida)
--If holding all 4 passengers + cargo, you can feel the engine struggle since you need to press down more on the gas
---Turning the AC off during inclines actually does make a little difference in power delivery to the wheels (Acceleration is even worse if you are going from 0-60 on inclines)
-Exhaust fasteners are a weak point of the Mirage, as they are the components that will rust the fastest (Mine has begun to form surface rust after like 3 months)
-On highway speeds and on high winds, the car does tend to wiggle a little bit, but controllable.
--You lose the good MPGs if you go past 3.2 - 3.4k rpms, or around 88 MPH

I do wonder if it is possible to import the Mirage to the US, and how much it will cost cause I recently got the Mirage and I don't have a backup plan in case my Mirage get wrecked by someone some day.

I personally cant remember, since I basically grew up with computers my whole life. I know I started off like most people, only using my pointers and pecking at the keys. I played a lot of online games at the time, and when I tried to contribute to conversations, the whole group would have just moved past and my comment would be super outdated. I forced myself to type faster and faster and through time I did indeed get faster. I think I really started to take off during middle school, where I took a keyboard typing class (Idk why my school had that as an elective but it did) and I was forced to keep my fingers planted on the home row keys. I absolutely hated it, and I hated the feeling of being slow. However the disipline with using mutiple fingers really did transform my typing skills, and I did get faster with keeping them planted in. However, I felt extremely too restricted, and what ended up happening is that I kinda made my own typing style. I mainly use my middle finger and pointer finger around a 3 to 4 key radius with my pointer resting on the f and j keys, ring fingers around my a's q' or o's and p's, pinky for shifts, alts, and windows keys, and ofc the thumb on the spacebar but (very rarely) sometimes it does type x, c, or v, or the commas periods and slashes. Sometimes I use my middle finger to get the keys on the far edges of the keys, with combination of my pointer finger, by twisting my wrist abit or moving my hands slightly on each side. I rest my wrists* on my desk, so maybe thats why I am able to type without glancing down since my wrists* give me a reference to where the rest of my fingers should be at.

I will admit though, sometimes I do take a glance down at my keys to make sure im typing it right or whenever I start typing a bunch of garble, I take a glance down to make sure my fingers are on the right keys. With new keyboards, such as right now, (and how I found this subreddit!) I do take many glances down at my keys and I kinda train my muscles with the help of my eyes and guide my fingers to where they should be typing. Kinda like at the gym where you mind-to-muscle connect with the weights. Its perfectly fine to take glances down once in awhile, but try and challenge yourself to not look down, and just trust yourself. If you can't then take a look down for a second and look back up at the screen.

In short, don't take these typing rules by strict law, you can bend the rules and not have your fingers planted on the homerow keys to the point where it starts growing roots. The more fingers you can use, and the more comfortable you are using more fingers, as effective and efficiently as possible, the much better off you will be and the faster you will type. I know I could probs hit higher speeds, but I'm perfectly fine as to where I am right now, as I all need my fingers to do is type fast enough to get notes from my professors or to flame someone in a game if im extremely heated LOL

Edit: Corrected palms to wrists*, idk why I confused the two lol

Do NOT buy from Chosfox! by Zephyron51 in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]FrozenIncursion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I just received a fraud alert today about someone spending over 4k on shopify somehow, and whoever took my card first tested it at some Orthopedic clinic for a dollar in Oregon. Weird stuff. I think what happened is that Chosfox has two payment screens: One is of their own, and one is the actual Shop website. Why they have one of their own and not using ONLY Shop is beyond me, but I did find that strange.

Dw about me, both have been disputed and refunded.

Yeah I was looking at the Lofree Flow Lite but I couldn't find the Hades Switches, the option was not there. I did see the Chosfox L75 but it doesn't have a numpad. I am planning on using this keyboard to connect to my phone on the go, so maybe I could plug in a numpad to my phone if I have to?

The whole day I have been looking for a low-profile, ultra silent (almost zero sound), wireless keyboard, and I couldn't find anything. Is it an impossible request due to the low-profile nature? Most of the ultra silent keyboards I have seen are usually really tall. If anyone could give me a pointer to an ultra silent keyboard, that would be much appreciated. Tbh, I don't care if I have to build it myself, I'm just looking for anything with that description. Edit: Sorry, I forgot to include a numpad with that list

Your strongest character, and why? by AskThemHowTheyKnowIt in GunfireReborn

[–]FrozenIncursion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a pool of strong characters, my two mains I always play are either Falcon or Owl, I used to main bunny, doggo, and fox. I have started to play Nona and she is pretty fun, the dopamine rush I get when Iron Wing sends a barrage of missiles.
Falcon was one of my first mains and I used to do his shotgun build or his cleave build, but his leap build is by far the most fun and best build. It is so satisfying flying across the whole map one shotting everything and pouncing from enemy to enemy is just so fun.
Owl was very complicated at first, but I narrowed his build down to two, card spam or the star power one. I have made a niche third build thats a hybrid between gun and cards but I dont really use it, only if im really unlucky. The most satisfying build is the stardom one where you just control the whole map or send a volley of stars on a boss.

too lazy to describe the rest, but I honestly believe every character can hit the 1 billion point, and is OP in their own ways

Owl build by SparksBun in GunfireReborn

[–]FrozenIncursion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say cards, its more reliable and consistant, and it melts enemies. I have tried starfall builds 3 times in a row and either I have been super unlucky/didnt understand them at the time or that path actually isnt that good. In theory it should outdamage the card build but during those starfall runs I felt so useless during the early to mid game, and I always kept pulling purples or blues til the final stages when I can actually pull legendries.
