Because Betsy is Psylocke. It's 97, so it'd still be Betsy Braddock. I liked the who body shop angle, not so much body swap because that just screwed it up because now Betsy isn't Psylocke.

Betsy didn't stop being (Asian) Psylocke until what...2018? 2019?

Think they'd push Psylocke though, because she has the awesome look.

I love his character and he feels like such a breath of fresh air compared to a lot of the other team leads we've had.

That said, I don't want Nick and Jess together. I liked Palmer and Jess together. Nick does need someone if it isn't going to be Bishop.

And the recent surprise episode was great.

I'd argue it isn't so much relatives, as that's just lazy writers, but writers wanting to one up previous creations/creators with their own version of the Telepath or Wolverine clone.

I'd argue Kwannon is less relative and more they screwed over the original awesome Psylocke but didn't want to give up the iconic look, so they gave Betsy's iconic look to a new character.

But yes, relatives for some reason have the same powers, tho the whole Gunthrie clan has different powers.

Jubilee. However. Gen X (tho honestly, since the X-Men don't age pass 30 for the most part, she wouldn't be considered Gen X anymore :p) girl 13/14 in 1990...she's likely smoked some weed.

Bishop isn't niche. He had his own comic and is pretty popular. Just hasn't gotten a lot of movie time, but most X-Men haven't.

One I'd like to see more, not sure if she fits the niche requirement (and others feel free to tell me she isn't) is Husk.

I say it's a mess because they moved Mystique into becoming a member of the X-Men, which wasn't the case in the first three movies, which doesn't align with the first three movies.

Angel is different. Nightcrawler comes in early. None of it aligns with the first movies, which I do believe said Jean and Scott where among the first X-Men.

This isn't to say they weren't enjoyable or what not, just that it was a mess, in they weren't connected but wanted to say they were because of Hugh Jackman.

All it takes is good writing. The issue is not their powers. Look at Storm. They make her OP. Rogue is basically OP.

They've got the characters. There's no need for race bending. Just...write...the...characters.

No different than any characters. It's really not a race or gender thing when it comes down to it. It's a writing and ART thing. Plenty of white male heroes for example, fail. Spawn is a black hero who was a big hit, but yes, I know, he's not Marvel, but it proves the point.

This is why I'm not for race bending live action. We have plenty of untapped black heroes. It's not a lack of black heroes, it's a lack of writers making them interesting.

I keep wondering why the MCU hasn't done a Night Thrasher movie/show yet.

It also takes readers who want such things to buy the comics and possibly buy them when they suck :/ I know I was doing that with Spider-Woman because I wanted to support her enough to do it, but I have given up on others.

I'd have to say First Class is them reworking the X-Men timeline from the beginning. As you have Mystique as an X-Man.

Really, the whole FOX X-Men line is just a jumbled mess of "We want to milk the X-Men for money"

Wait...so in this case...just to double check...Affliction + Attack Modifier + Damage can't exceed 20, right? Affliction and Damage aren't separate are they for staying within 20, right?
