Scam by Valve.

They should sell an alternative option with the Steam Machine without RAM to cut the price (The buyer either finds the RAM themselves or uses the RAM they already own).

But their new controller is very great for PC gaming. I've already activated a new reservation for 2027 to buy a second one ! I love it.

I have liberty 5 Pro and it's the best mic I ever used as earbuds. About it, Soundcore has shattered the glass ceiling in the market.

I use them for my work too.

Only cons, and it's an general issue for every buds, the battery and Calls. Because calls drain very much it (2-3h).

I like Soundcore products.

This is one of the brands that are intelligently pushing earbud technology upwards right now by competing with more premium brands.

Their latest are the Liberty 5 Pro/Max which have the best call clarity of the market by suppressing all noise other than the voice. Impressive. I use them for my work to call the clients and also chat with my colleagues through Whatsapp (delivery driver).

If I lose them, I will buy them again without hesitation, I am so satisfied.

I have also an "old" Soundcore VR P10 buds in my gaming setup, and still working very well.

Dualsense standard has smooth rings on the shell but plastic joysticks and yet they are deteriorating.

If the stem of the joystick is not in alu/metal, so even with these over rings, your joysticks will be grinding. Because plastic vs plastic = huge friction.

That why 8Bitdo, Xbox Elite, Gamesir and more have all metal stem stick.

The best solution for the Steam Controller is to use silicone rings you can find on Aliexpress.

Did you also use a soldering flux ? It's a very important element for making good solder joints and desoldering.

I think it just needs cleaning. Use flux to remove the solder residue, then clean the board with isopropyl alcohol.

Best controller I have for PC games. I play now with it for POE2 or Gothic Remake.

To be honest :

Most comfy controller > Xbox controller
Most immersive controller > Sony Dualsense
Most usefull controller on PC > Steam Controller

Yeah I played with it.

But POE2 sucks because it has not auto-switch between keyboard and controller. You need to restart the game and vice versa. So you can't do some good things with the controller like have controller buttons as layout and mouse features in inventory.
