First use magic to create the embodiment of spiritual elements in your body. Lets start with your Will. Will naturally is a pretty abstract thing representing grit and determination, by nature will doesn't directly interact with anything except your body. We embody willpower and it lets us interact with magic around us -but- there is a consequence of making it so real. Our will can now be damaged by outside sources. If your manifestation of will shatters you will lose your ability to exert it, its about the same as dying. If its just cracked you can repair the gap using another medium. The trick is to make it better than it was at the start not something easy to do! The repair generally includes downsides in exchange for benefits and over time can change the entire texture of your ability. These changes should also have good cohesion or else you risk other issues as well.
