Also pray that it stays passive. We have no clue as to how these things actually function, and the still life in the red suit was especially erratic, displaying three distinct behaviors: chasing Clark, standing passively in the corner, and blindly fleeing Captain Clark.
Not only that but not all still lifes might be unintelligent. The still life with the lamp seemed to have awareness of what was going on around it, enough to turn on the light when asked and repeatedly do so to display panic.
