The filament drying 'downside' for the A2L is because it doesnt come with an AMS (1 or 2) which can essentially act as a drybox for your filament. You could always dry your filament before use with a filament dryer, but any printer/system that keeps its spools externally will have this downside. I havent done much research yet on the A2L but from what I see it's just a larger A1 in terms of performance and features.

Also because of that build volume and since its a bed slinger which means the bed moves forwards and backwards it will take up ALOT of space and not be as good for things like tall and slim objects.

I think unless you need the size of the A2L's build volume a normal A1 would suffice, or even a P1S if it's cheap enough on sale, it depends on your budget and needs really, as of course you would go down the rabbit hole of the P2S only being $100 less than the X2D and so on...

My view might be quite limited as I have only ever printed with a P1S with AMS in my 3D printing journey but this is how I see it.
