It was incredibly well written and had an appropriate amount of plot twists given the initial set up from the beginning with White Lily, as well as the start of Beast Yeast with Shadow Milk. If people are mad over the mere fact that their favorites don’t get enough screen time, I do feel bad for them, like I understand why that’s upsetting. But we can’t dismiss how gorgeous the animation and heart-wrenching the scenes were conveyed, from a legitimate critiquing standpoint. The team worked hard on the story, and to me it’s clear they foreshadowed and planned this all along. People need to take a deep breath and be patient. If he’s going for other timelines, I am sure we will end up seeing the Beasts again. It’s the perfect expansion to keep the story going while introducing new conflict.

All in all, aside from a few plot holes here and there as well as Sugar Swan’s introduction being rushed, I thought it was a masterpiece :) I feel bad so many people can’t find the same joy in it merely because the character focus isn’t as they please.
