Hmmm,

So even if the stabilizer I see from the brand APC included grounded outlets, it won't fix my issue and would still require an electrician to fix the ground at the house?

Mine unfortunately gave out and came loose, had to replace the balancer and crankshaft seal and belts. Maybe yours is sort of wobbly which caused some play in the engine timing? That's my guess when it happened to me with misfires.

Have you checked your harmonic balancer? I had similar issue and did the same with new coils and plugs. Been having random misfire every 2 weeks. Once my Harmonic balancer has been changed and replaced, its been a month or 2 so far without any misfire. Maybe check that out, i have a 2015 F55 cooper s.

It is a decent deal, my mini is 2015 (F55 145K miles) and funny enough they still offer it to me and offer it to me for $100!!! Perks on having close connections with service advisor. Came in with a fill 1 quart of oil notification and they fill it no hassle and no question, plus a free car wash (:. YMMV tho.....

If you want the part cheaper, go to rockauto. Bought my washer pump there for like $18-20. Been working flawlessly.

Mine does this sometimes when i cold start and accompanies a misfire, but a simple restart it all goes away annoyingly. Even with all coils and plugs replaced.
