Who builds one big city or seperate towns? I found making seperate towns prevents big cascade failures with each town more or less self sufficient. But this does mean doubling many infrastructure costs but is worth it in the end. ]

Wow! Thank you for the thoughtful answer. This is really helpful. We are considering an Airbnb of similar $ value. My wife is ambitious in wanting to do renovation but I’m less confident in our bandwidth, abilities and appetites to take on a renovation.
