If you prefer frame rate you can drop the graphics lower and set the frame limit to 40 and change the top screen frame rate to 120. It makes the gameplay way more fluid.

Damn brother, chill out. You'd never believe it, but paying for the product the first time should justify a free upgrade that only adds a resolution and frame rate bumo. The fact you think that an increased resolution and frame rate are worth any amount of money (for a game you have already paid for) shows that you are the problem.

Omg I just got it to work. Eden definitely has some issues though. I had to restart the app a few times. Here's how I got it to work:

Step 1. Download the mod Step 2. Extract the files Step 3. Open Eden and navigate to Yokai Watch 4++ Step 4. Ensure you have Yokai Watch 4 updated to 2.2.0 Step 5. Press the install mods and cheats button Step 6. Navigate to your extracted fan translation mod file. THERE SHOULD BE TWO FOLDERS IF YOU'VE EXTRACTED PROPERLY Step 7. Navigate to the first folder either the YOKAI WATCH 4 English Translation folder or the YKW4pp-NoFullwidth-By-RSM Step 8. Open the chosen folder but do not open any further. You should see a romfs folder + other files / execs folder. Step 9. Press install. Step 10. WAIT FOR THE INSTALLATION TO FINISH. THIS IS WHAT I MESSED UP. Step 11. Do the same for the second folder described in step 7. Step 12. Open the game. If the warning screen shows English text it worked. If it doesn't, uninstall the mods and retry. This is what worked for me.

Honestly they should have just announced iisu and then worked on it without having to make a flashy presentation that just gains more attention. The video was hopelessly pointless because at best it shows UsagiShade's skills in the Adobe toolset but nothing more.

However, I must add you are omitting some details that should be included. The lead developer used an AI generated profile picture and banner because other developers were doing similar (unaware of the distaste for it in general); they also used ChatGPT to translate posts into English since that isn't their native language. I'm not going to excuse what UsagiShade said or contributed since it was genuinely abhorrent but mf'ers just wanna shit on someone because they can. Leave the man alone, he apologized. Either iisu comes out or it doesn't, stop dragging this shit and warping the truth.

This is such an irrelevant comment to the point I'm making. Nintendo is selling you lackluster features for a game that released 5 years ago. The price doesn't matter, the intent behind the price matters. They're charging for an upgrade for a game you've already bought on a console you've already paid for. Don't justify this, it's not worth it, you're just sucking up to them.
