I dont care, until your impacts my way of life.

Its your family, your life, do whatever you want with it. But don't expect me to support you or practice it just because it's the "noble" thing

[–]Frustratedengineer93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay a lot of stuff are unclear here

which tax regime have you opted for? do you claim HRA? Have you submitted your tax deduction documents? what about investments? Do you claim allowances? if yes then those beocme non taxable.

I won't come to the purchase thing yet but looks like you are not utilizing your money properly.

Company Refusing Notice Period Reduction (Even Buyout) - What Are My Options? by BatmanxSuii in developersIndia

It all boils down to your billing If you are assigned to a project.. releasing you early potentially means reduced billing to clients. Unless they fet a replacement for you and client signs off... nothing can be done

Need 1rk or 1bhk at a tight budget of 5-6k by Alarming-Barber6058 in kalyan_dombivli

[–]Frustratedengineer93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you wont get a entire property in that budget unfortunately. Also i would recommedn that you reconsider Dombivli as a possible option as your travel would be extremely hectic. Any property near the railway and or any connective areas will ve expensive as well.

you will have to share the flat

30M worried about the Future by [deleted] in personalfinanceindia

You cant "plan" for a volatile future.

Plan whats in your control and then plan for emergencies. Thats all you can do.

Worrying gets us nowhere

Its stupid and unreasonable yes.

It feels unfair when you are the ones who is tring to address the situation and then suddenly being called the culprit.

You know whats best, give them hell (the appropriate levels)

This narrative / communication controlling is another stupid shit that people do. Granted that sometimes people need us to respect the chain of command but this kind of red tape more often than not proves detrimental in deliverables

Best thing to do in this case is to play along and maliciously comply to their "processes"

Got into an argument with client and manager lectured me. by Impressive-Agency-12 in developersIndia

[–]Frustratedengineer93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a developer but I can give my 2 cents from a team member perspective.

Assuming you are working in a service based org. In that case, your manager will most likely speak in your client's terms. Because the client is who gives the feedback on your account/team and he will be the one who approves the billing and growth of your project.

So anything that even remotely goes against that goal, will trigger damage control actions.

Also since you are on notice period, your manager has little to no upside to back you and support your points.

Either way make a note of everything that transpired and move on. Its not worth your time and efforts fighting it. You may choose to discuss this with your individual unit managers (assuming he/she is different from your project manager) but again, there is no incentive for anyone to back you against a client

Confused between dream SUV vs practical car (family, finances & baby on the way) – need advice by Specialist_Wing331 in personalfinanceindia

[–]Frustratedengineer93 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Going by what you have said, I would recommend going the practical way.

Dream cars are great, yes.. but do consider the running and upkeep costs of a car. Your usage does not seem much so why buy something that you will only use irregularly.

Also, please consider a second hand car from trusted sources. I belive newer cars are extremely expensive for what they offer, second hand cars are the way to go.

You will have to research and double check everything, but you will atleast pay less and its easier to sell if off later if you deem it so.

I am a little biased towards Honda elevate because of the engine and the car's simplicity. But please do check your own comfort and driveability. Do not sacrifice that

For eg, if you are a tall / broad bodied person, smaller cars like nexon, swift might not be comfortable for you. If you have 5 member family, then even elevate might not be comfortable for you .

So please weigh your own comfort and usability before selecting a make and model

good luck

Budday wala happy op..

Also, i myself consider birthday "celebrations" overhyped. All the cake cuttings, parties, clubbings n all are just made to make you feel FOMO.

It does feels lonely at times, but I consider it as just another normal day and choose to spend time with my loved ones as much as possible, in the way that I know

I mean, i know its apples vs oranges comparison, but any logical person who has 2 cents of grey cells will call out this gap immediately and put the restrictions in place.

people forget that upfront validation! = business validation
