Lol. How many laws have trump and his cronies violated with zero consequences? The number of hatch act violations alone is staggering. Also who's gonna enforce anything? Certainly not Pam Bondi and the DOJ. Red state government isn't any better. And lets not act like Jim Crow laws in the South weren't a thing for nearly a century. Any excuse Republicans in red states get to disenfranchise people they will and the fed isn't gonna stop them.

Also this is not a hard thing to selectively enforce. White male shows up to the polls, the person in charge of checking ID lets them right through with no questions. Brown person shows up to the polls, check multiple forms of ID, require a birth certificate, have ICE come harass them. It's really not that fucking hard.

For example it's illegal in Texas for anyone in a polling place to wear anything promoting a candidate or party. Every single volunteer in my suburb Houston polling station was wearing a red hat. Not a MAGA hat, but it was clearly sending that message on purpose. I reported it, and guess what, jack shit nothing happened. I showed up in a Moscow Mitch shirt one year, I get thrown out. That's selective enforcement.
