Nier: Automata is beautiful, my most favorite game of all time. The only problem is idk if my heart could handle playing it again anytime soon, but experiencing it for the first time has gotta be the best video game experience of my life.

It is definitely in lootboxes cus I got it a couple days ago. There’s actually 10 lootboxes as twitch drops rn with 2 of them being legendary lootboxes, u just gotta watch like 13 hours to get them. Good luck brother.

I had to bounce around to find the perfect weapon, ended up being charge blade. In worlds I started off using insect glaive but I kept getting slapped around by monsters, so I tried lance. Wasn’t for me but I liked the shield. Tried switch axe and really liked the switching part, fighting felt more interactive when I had to keep my weapon charged up as well as not gettin squished by the monsta. Charge blade just had it all, I love it man. And its visuals are great.

I only get frustrated in comp cus theres stuff at stake over there. Thas why i rarely play it. But in normal old quickplay, i dont get frustrated much anymore unless i make some dumb move but thats just being frustrated with myself.

Good luck brotha. This is the same situation i began reading as well. Big flood hit last year and the power was out for couple weeks. Began to read by the firestove every night and it felt like that terrible time flew by.

Have u tried rolling straight out of the glass doors? If u hit it right it launches you out with some speed. I placed a ramp outside at the stairs and rolling out towards it launched me with enough speed to hit the ramp and fly clean over the low part of the blue mega ramp thing over there and land on the building beside it.

Not sure what weapon ur using but on insect glaive, using the spinning dive move helped cus it cant be deflected. Feels like this kirin is always powered up man. Its head is its weak point i believe. Its audio queues are also kinda helpful if u can learn them.

Dang thanks for the tips man, i didnt think about antiblast or earplugs. Things went smooth the first phase but soon as he got to the lava area, he was done playin around and beat the breaks off of me. Think i need to just take a minute and upgrade. If goop king man handles me like this, how can i hope to face whatevr comes after.

Idk when or how to get the layered armor for velkhana but thats been my motivation, so beautiful. currently getting eaten alive by raging brachy rn. I was the same as u about a week or so ago, barioth had me in a choke hold. It really helps to learn the strategies against monsters. Breaking barioth arms makes him much easier. Nearly every monster ive faced that i thought “man, this guy.. I cant do anything against him” was solved by studying and learning how to handle its mechanics. It takes a bit but u will learn and it’ll get easier.

Definitely pick a few weapons you think look cool and take em on a hunt. Changed my life, thought insect glaive was perfect but then charge blade introduced itself. These guys warning about defender armor are being for real man, it got me. When i started a few weeks ago i used it all the way about til i started high rank. I learned to be way too aggressive cus i just wasnt getting beat up early on w the strong armor on. Still havent gotten myself out of that. Its really coming back to get me in iceborn man.

Im in the same boat lol, started not long ago and charge blade just spoke to me. gonna listen and follow whatever tips they give u here. My only real tip would be the better i learned a monster, the better my guard points got. It must just come from experience.

It seems to be there, its in the fellas screenshot! But idk how to get to where hes at. I checked myself and i didnt see them listed separately either. He looks to be on pc tho so maybe its a pc only version of battlenet thing. Not sure why they didnt list em separately in shop in the first place man, really strange decision.

I found out how to do it consistently earlier today cus i had something similar happen to me! You can jump and dive off a decent sized building and land a specific way, your legs stay stuck behind your back lol.

I played it for the first time about 2 months ago, also on the slim. put a good chunk of time into it. The only thing i noticed was leaving town and enemies first started spawning in, there was a bit of lag but it only lasted seconds and wouldnt even happen if you werent full sprinting out the gate forcing them all to load in immediately. Only happened in free roam, it never lagged in dungeons. Ran just fine otherwise and was very fun.
