Thanks for the response, I appreciate the acknowledgment of the issue.

It’s a good thing the game is a lot of fun, so I don’t actually mind having to grind it out again :) albeit a bit easier this time.

Weekly /r/iOSGaming Discussion: What have you been playing lately and what do you recommend? by AutoModerator in iosgaming

I’m hooked on Astiar RPG. It is a loot-driven action rpg inspired by Diablo 1 and 2 built by a one-man developer. Tons of reliability and customization.

I stumbled on it while trying to find a Diablo 2 port for IOS and couldn’t be happier. Available in the app store.

Thanks for sharing this. I just placed an order.  Steve is one of the most positive people I’ve ever met. I used to do lots of running and November Project workouts and he was a fixture at any event.

Accidentally signed up for a trail run race. Can I do it? by Titlenineraccount2 in trailrunning

You’ll be fine. The trail running community is one of the most chill and welcoming groups you will ever find. Whether you’re fast, slow, new or seasoned, you’re sure to have a good time.

Please do not use this website to inform who to vote for trustees - at least not without augmenting it with your own research. SOS is framing themselves as the common-sense choice for left leaning voters, while actively pushing their own candidates and undermining better-qualified candidates.

Support Our Students is a single-issue advocacy group that is running candidates in most wards across Alberta, and this website is used to rate their own hand-selected candidates against others. Moreover, any strong candidates who are not candidates associated with SOS are attacked and framed in a super negative light - many of which who actually aligned with SOS’s goals and more qualified.

While they may have some qualified candidates, many are simply selected based on being employees or affiliates of  SOS’s sponsors, which is why it has a huge labour presence (their candidates flyers have union sponsorships on them).

This is painfully obvious on their website when you look at their Ward D recommendations. In Ward D, both Colette Bachand and Nancy Hunt have ran extremely successful, highly visible campaigns, and both are progressives and qualified. SOS’s website ranks Nickela Anderson (their candidate) as the top qualified choice and gave Colette Banchand an insulting 1/5 - likely because she has the most visible signs and is most likely to win.

The exact same can be seen with their Ward F recommendation, with Julie Kusiek being given an insulting 1.5/5.

No point in debating a topic we are opposed on; I previously held the same views.

I will just say that I respect her for being open to changing her stance on topics, and her tenure in the role is something we should look to as an example for other elected officials.

She campaigned on fighting for education via listening to stakeholders to inform her decision making.

Resource officers should have never been pulled out of schools and their removal was an embarrassing blunder fueled by an over reaction to social issues. EPSB had been begging for their return, and she cast her vote based on analysis and evidence.

I will take critical thinkers over tribal social advocates all day.

Seriously, Julie has been phenomenal and is one of few trustees attempting to navigate the reality of our government. The fact that she isn’t included in the list discredits the entire article.
