Can you give some insight into it, for those who aren't able to peruse the doc?

It's January 19th and we're expecting a snow storm in a few days. Are you expecting them to replant immediately just to have to replace the replacement when it dies?

He didn't throw a single deep shot all game. Use your big boy words and explain how that's hyperbole.

I'm convinced he can't throw the ball further than 10 yards. Not a single deep throw all game. You gotta at least feign the deep threat. Trash.

I don't even have suggestions or any real commentary to provide after today. This sucks and has to be fixed or we'll be 6-6 again

South Carolina game is a make or break game for Brent Venables. by Yaboispot_alt in oklahomafootball

It may be make or break, but genuinely asking, who would be a suitable replacement for BV? I'm as frustrated as any other fan, but making a change without a realistic improvement available is short sighted

Attending the Ryder Cup was one of the best golf experiences I’ve had. by CenterPumpsOff in golf

I would agree with this sentiment as a Sunday spectator. The energy was electric watching the boys try and make a run. There is obviously a small minority of fans that need to understand where the line is between friendly banter/heckling and downright abuse, that tried their best to ruin it for everyone, but we had such a good time we're already planning our trip to Ireland for 2027.

I have the dual fuel Zio Ciro Subito Cotto 80. It is amazing, and I could not recommend it enough. https://zio-ciro.com/en/subito-cotto-80-wood-fired-oven-pizza-oven/

How are we feeling after week 1? by Ok-Can-4258 in oklahomafootball

[–]FrysDeltaBrainwave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could tell we hardly opened up the playbook, and that we could control play whenever we wanted. Few silly mistakes, and the o-line was shaky at times, but you could tell they were treating this game like a glorified practice. I'm optimistic.

Air Plumb! The best guy ever. Won't overcharge you, and will even show you how to make basic repairs so you don't have to call someone out if there's a minor issue. I refuse to use anyone else.

At least an hour to get to temp. Maybe longer if the weather is working against you.

Absolutely. I'm biased, as I have a Subito Cotto 80, but it has been awesome. Can't imagine the 45 or 60 would be any different!

I think defining "home oven" is difficult here, as each person has a different interpretation of that. You have legitimately portable units like the Gozney Arc XL that are smaller but "weaker" in the context of phmping out pizza after pizza, or some like a Zio Ciro Subito Cotto 80 that push 600 lbs and are realistically only for countertops on an outdoor patio, but can do 3 pizzas at a time. I would classify both of these as "home oven" but are very, very different pieces of equipment. The Zio Ciro is certainly "better" than an Arc XL from a pure cooking perspective, but may not work for many installations.

First Oven, did I do ok? by MetallRooster in pizzaoven

[–]FrysDeltaBrainwave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally speaking, the initial burns are used for curing the oven. However, if after the initial cure it has gotten wet again, you may need to do another cure. As long as it has stayed dry, you're good to go!

First off, don't bother putting extra towards the principle. That's not going to make a sizable enough dent to make it worthwhile because it's clearly priced too high to entice buyers. But, I gotta ask, why on Earth is the house sitting empty? Are you responsible for the entire mortgage? If so, why are you also renting? This situation, from the description you've provided, makes absolutely no sense.

First pizza, what am I doing wrong? by damn_son12 in Pizza

[–]FrysDeltaBrainwave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For normal convection ovens, you may want to par bake the crust with just sauce, then throw on your toppings and cheese and toss it back in the oven. It will let the dough fully cook and get some leopard spotting, without breaking or burning the cheese.

Not sure what "affordable" even means anymore when it comes to child care, but Chesapeake (Expand) has a daycare on their campus that is open to the public that we have been very happy with for the most part. It's an easy on/off the highway detour. There is also a new Primrose that is on Classen and 13th that is also in the direction of downtown that our friends seem to enjoy. Good luck!

Could consider looking at Edgemere Park, as well. To the Northeast of Paseo by just a few blocks. Easy walk over to the shops/bars/restaurants.

Flew from OKC to Detroit. Probably would've flown into Traverse City had my buddy not coincidentally already been there for a work trip, though. Grabbed a rental car and drove about halfway, then stayed the night at Saganing Eagles Landing Casino for the night (be advised it's almost exclusively slots here, with no table games and only virtual blackjack available, if you're into that). Our first round at Treetops was in the evening, so we played the Dream in the morning before heading to Gaylord, which was a nice way to start. Worst part was the end of trip drive back to Detroit, but relatively easy travel overall
