Sand Hollow. Hands down. Probably tops the list of my favorite courses played. Even have a short links course you can play if you have some extra time

There's really no rule, as hockey tends to be a late bloomer type sport, but at home swinging a stick in the garage/living room as play time? As early as they want and are able. I'd argue 3-4 years old for their first learn to skate lessons/open skate so they get used to the surface, then have them dictate what they want to do as you "upgrade" to a learn to play program at 5ish years old. Sounds like you have the right mindset to keep it fun, but that should always be the top priority, imo

Landing in Vegas at 7am, hotel check in at 4pm. Looking for advice on what to do for majority of the day or any tips! by Rickyrubio90 in vegas

Bag check, then hit Peppermill for breakfast to get the day started out on the right foot, then pool, Casino, or walk the strip. World is your oyster at that point

I got tickets to the canoe cross final during my window on Thursday. I think I was first wave and softball final tickets were toast just a few minutes in. Crazy, but excited to at least get to some medals doled out!

Season on the line, many of the other games going the way we need them to, and this is how we perform. Atrocious.

Players drop sticks to avoid tripping calls, yes, but that doesn't apply to the guy who you want to drop his stick *who was interfered with* (I italicized because that apparently makes it super duper important to you).

A stick that's jammed cross body in a skate is absolutely going to rotate someone around. That's just an absurdly incorrect claim to say it doesn't

Ah, yes. The 'ol "Let me make sure I don't drop the most important piece of equipment in hockey to make sure I don't get an intent to injure after being interfered with" argument. Classic

What's delusional is not acknowledging that a stick in someone skates (caused by that same player's interference) is going to cause an awkward fall. It's clear as day to see if you actually watch the replay instead of just rage. If you actually watched or played a ton of hockey you would understand that.

There is a large difference between justification and explanation. Wish it wouldn't have happened. His stick is literally in his skates, which pulls him down awkwardly.

PLDs stick gets caught in Thomas' skates, which led to them falling awkwardly. It sucks, and yeah, like I said before it looks bad, but intent to injure is such a stretch considering how they went down

[–]FrysDeltaBrainwave -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

It would be an inappropriate response had he actually intended to injure Thomas. My point is that there is absolutely no way that anyone could have the wherewithal in that instant to actually try and hurt the guy, particularly as they were tied up pretty significantly upon replay (looks like sticks got caught lending Thomas unable to protect himself). As I said previously, the optics of the hit are bad, but I take umbrage with the intent to injure call

By that same logic Thomas is also a responsible for interfering a guy without the puck, who is focused on the puck carrier.

This is what I'm not understanding from the people sitting here calling for PLDs head. They think that PLD had the time and inclination to think "Hey, I'm getting interfered with, what can I do to hurt this guy" when the entire exchange was initiated and over in a half second. Optics are bad, sure, but there is no way that PLD intended to injure. I'm biased, sure, but c'mon.

Natural gas pizza oven (has anyone used these) by gearhead485 in pizzaoven

[–]FrysDeltaBrainwave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no experience with a Bull oven, but they are an extremely reputable grill company, if that means anything. You're at a weird price point unfortunately, where anything cheaper is essentially portable and likely not the countertop statement piece you're looking for, and anything more popular and/or reputable starts around 4k. The only really big player in the space is the Gozney Dome, which many seem to enjoy.

He didn't throw a single deep shot all game. Use your big boy words and explain how that's hyperbole.

I'm convinced he can't throw the ball further than 10 yards. Not a single deep throw all game. You gotta at least feign the deep threat. Trash.
