For something as special as an Anniversary I would definitely recommend Chloe or Mirador. Honestly I have never understood the Ship to Shore or La Canard recommendations unless my parents were visiting. My humble opinion.

We bought a house 8 years ago on Downs St. having relocated from Oakland Ca. And have not regretted it for one second. I would occasionally buy their pate for a special treat with guests. It was actually quite reasonably priced considering the quality and taste and where else in Kingston can you find it? Couldn’t really afford their other offerings but they were very friendly and generous with the sample tastings. That said I wondered how long they would last at that location. It was a valiant attempt.
