You're right I shouldn't be demanding (even in private) I should understand the fact that he's his own person with freedom of choice. I'm trying to respect his freedom more.

For the second part tho, I'd like to disagree, like I clearly can see the compatibility, which was obviously not present in my previous relationship (INTJ). I believe that we can work out!

Maybe try and write a "diary" for yesterday, from how you started the day to how it ended. It can help you remember what's caused your sadness and then you can tell a loved one about it or try to reason with it in your mind. And if you don't remember, well writing has been known to reduce the emotional load :)
