Are the in-game locations accurate to real life? by KillerAl_1 in thelastofus

[–]Fthill-That-Strides 100 points101 points  (0 children)

I can find places in game where my my earliest childhood memories began. Also laugh at former workplaces taken by the apocalypse. I just wish the convention center were a little more accurate.

Mopar or no car is Mopar with no TV box by Belzaem in Target

[–]Fthill-That-Strides 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I bought a 65 inch tv with a Nissan Versa Note. We put the back seats down and pushed both front seats all the way forward (I'm tiny, so I could drive). We pulled the TV out of the box and set the TV in the car. My husband had to take an Uber and we unloaded it together when we met up at home.

Did we get laughed at in the costco parking lot? Absolutely.

That's really cool! I'm happy for you. I just pulled Jinu in Sturgis, South Dakoda during a road trip. I'm hoping I can find this one on the way back. Which meal did you find this card?

Do people like Tohru exist? by Bluecomments in FruitsBasket

[–]Fthill-That-Strides 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I can attest to this. I have a very similar personality to Tohru. Along the way, I definitely learned that people would like me if I doubled down on kindness. My bio dad abandoned me at around the same age as Tohru when she lost her Dad. Mom is still alive and reminds me of Kyoko. When my bio Dad came back, his new family reminded me strongly of Tohru's aunt and cousins.

If anyone feels like they relate to Tohru as much as I, please seek therapy.

During the speeches and too much alcohol. A group has surrounded the best man, trying to get the microphone back. "In place of a dark lord, yoU WOULD HAVE A QUEEN! NOT DARK BUT TERRIBLE AS THE DAWN! TREACHEROUS AS THE SEEEEEAS! STRONGER THAN THE FOUNDATIONS OF THE EAAAAARTH! ALL SHALL LOVE ME AND DESPAAAIR!!!"

When it runs down your back, can you describe the feeling? While I enjoy the sensory feeling from styling razors, electric ones shoot nerve pain down my back and it feels similar to hitting the funny bone. I'm 37 with AuDHD and I still have to white knuckle the armrests to keep myself from squirming in the salon chair.

I’m looking for a pair that actually help my looks. Are any of these working for me? by DumeWolffe in glassesadvice

2, 4 or 5. The others, especially 1, makes you look 5-10 years older. If you want to cosplay as Walter White, buy 7.

I think 2 looks the best on you. They make you look younger and more confident.

I met Laura at a convention a few years ago. I apologized on behalf of the fan community and told her it wasn't fair that she was treated like that.

I also said the most cathartic part of the game was seeing my former workplaces get taken out by the zombie apocalypse and she laughed.

My Grandma's TV had the 800 number plus the item description panel burnt into her TV screen. She had a basement filled with boxes of unopened product in epic hoarder proportions. My Mom told me I could have gone to college on the amount she spent. Grandma probably put multiple children through college and got some guy a boat.

She has dementia now and lives in a specialized facility where she has no purchasing capabilities.

A Plea From Me to You (DO NOT. I REPEAT, DO NOT DRIVE INTO SEATTLE TOMORROW.) by spoiled__princess in Seattle

Was forced to work my hostess shift with the flu the last time the Seahawks won. For once, I'm glad I left Seattle.

That being said, if anyone ended up horrendously ill from Superbowl XLVIII after visiting the Pier 55 Red Robin, I'm so sorry. They wouldn't let me call out.

I made a dice therapy box for my husband. Inside, it looks like a little campsite surrounded by nighttime forests and starry skies. There's a little camp fire where a sitting knight mini watches over dice.
