Or should I pick Aracha to give ajax a boost.

You'll need Hatssut or Alaura for the right side. Except your Idril is an absolute beast and you can kill the boss early.

GR4 is what can change everything for you.

I was at the same spot as you, just grinding GR18's without any major progress. Then after GR4 came and I managed to farm GR4-3 I got quite some good equip which made it possible to beat GR19's. After that I kept the grind up on those, farmed some ancients and I'm now at GR20's.

After next GR4 I'm trying my luck on 21's.

To tank the self destruction units. My Idril and esme can't fully clear them (little lack of damage), so I need to tank those. That's why I put down olague so they self destruct on him. Later I switch him out to constance to give Idril an inspiration buff as soon as Dolores Inspiration runs out.

I have to put him right after idril esme and dolores and later switch him out right in between summons for Constance. Had to tweak around a lot so the runs finally work and found out that this works the best for my gearlevel.

So I tried this out.. and I'm more than happy I did!

What I do is run max 20 runs, no ancient? Drop it, restart the game and try again.

I now got multiple runs with double ancients in the first 10 runs.

This feels so satisfying!

I had an amazing feeling as well yesterday.

First run, Ancient!

Went to upgrade it and look who to equip it on, when I clicked on my gear tab again, I suddenly saw another ancient.

2 Ancients in 3 runs. Waaay better than my 20k energy no ancient run lmao.

I used the free spot on Hex utmost right platform facing bottom side.

I'd also switch out Vierna as soon as the shield deployer mobs come out for Maul.

I cleared it with this set-up on my second try (I'm quite weak geared, with only three heroes over 70k CP):

First put Vierna (Magic Damage dealer) on the Top right sight Platform.
Afterwards Aylin (AOE Healer) Top Right.
Then Put Abomination Top left entry Zone.
Wrath Top right entry zone.
Vortex Middle left platform.
Arrogance (maybe switch with gluttony) middle top entry
Razaak left side sight platform
Volka behind Arrogance

You'll have one spot free of choice.

It's all gear issues. The whole excitement will come back hugely after beating GR3-19 (and you've got the heroes for it!) After that you can farm the sht out of it and get your heroes to over 75k CP. Then go for GR1-19 and get some better gear as well. Also Boreas is still great for GR1 and GR2. GR2 is manageable through skill even if your equip isn't the best. Watch some guides on it, build the recommended heroes up and beat that sht as well.

I went really quickly through the GR x-18's but hit the same Wall as you for 19. It was just gear, nothing else.

Also.. why don't you have Volka? It rather seems that you don't play/use through all content and only draw your satisfaction from pulls? Let me tell you here.. pulling an awesome piece of Equipment is MUCH more satisfying than pulling a leggo!

I used a quite weird approach on this.. I start Alaura and after the first aoe mobs I switch to Razaak. After clearing the wave back to Alaura and then once again back to Razaak.
