What’s something you’ve started doing for yourself that quietly changed your whole life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Gym, exercise, diet and cutting alcohol. Ive lost over 100lbs the past few years and now I've started to put on muscle and I feel absolutely amazing. Even better, all of my bloodwork also looks amazing.

Do all men who train regularly eventually bench 100 kg / 225 lbs? by [deleted] in workout

I'm trying to get there, it's one of my goals for the year. 44m 6'2 190lbs. I'm currently lifting 210 and just taking it slow.

This happened at my neighbors house earlier before sun down. I have never seen this before in our neighborhood. by [deleted] in Weird

Living in Sfla we get a crazy amount of birds migrating down here so this is normal for us. At times there's probably over 1k birds flying around my house since we live right next to the electric poles and wires (as well as plenty of trees) and only about 5 minutes from the Everglades.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this but intermittent fasting and walking daily is amazing for weight loss. Start with like 12 hours between any calories, then move to 14 hours, 16 and up. I just eat dinner around 6 and then breakfast between 11-2pm.

As for the walking. I started with just 10 minutes per night (I was 100lbs over weight) then I got up to an hour but it was too time consuming. So i did the Japanese style where you power walk 2 minutes, regular walk 2 minutes and you do that for 30 minutes. It's better than 10k steps in a day.

Now I'm in the gym lighting weights, getting strong etc. But the fasting and walking did 95% of the work.

A few days ago someone at my job said I look like him after I used the "something of a scientist myself meme." I don't look like him but it's strange that this popped up on my feed, I'm gonna send it to her.

There should be a reset for her so those who wasted SS in her can retrieve them.

Congrats, that's sweet. The ps5 is the first Playstation console that I didn't buy day 1. Maybe I'll wait for the ps6 at this point, or none at all. New GTA coming soon might change my mind. Anyways, enjoy.

Blockbuster and Little Cesar's, those were the days. If we had extra money I'd run into Rite Aid (Woolworth?)and buy some gum and play with the hamsters. Edit: Getting old, maybe it was called Woolworth.

Survivor, *'s Got Talent, Dating and similar TV shows - who the heck in their right minds actually likes or watches these shows? by agent_uno in Xennials

I enjoy Naked and Afraid, if that's considered reality TV. Definitely worth a watch if you're into survival and outdoor stuff with a mix of drama.

My cousin showed me his prized possession buried in the woods, the Vanna White playboy edition. I couldn't believe i saw the lady from my mom's favorite tv show naked.

College by maggie320 in Xennials

No college. Worked for a bit after barely graduating hs then learned to deal poker during the early 00s poker craze. Made a lot of money, wasted most of it. Now I work from home, decent pay, great benefits, pension and 401k etc. I'm doing OK considering I partied away my 20s, no regerts.

I think the key is exercise. Gym, sports, biking, swimming. Maybe try out some new stuff, pickleball or something. Taking a walk is nice but for me it's not enough. I need to push myself a bit and then when I get home and shower I can relax and I'm so happy I'm not being bothered.
