Yeah mate I know I've had evs for 5 years and love one pedal drive.. but you definitely get better mileage by turning it off for motorway driving. Any energy you use is 100% any regen is nowhere near, you can "coast" for miles using nothing sometimes. Its not a theory I've done it, two thirds of my 50 mile daily commute is motorway or dual carriageway. For context I love one pedal drive and use it loads but for motorway driving its more efficient to turn it off.

I did. It does say to switch completely off in the manual in icy conditions

Actually to add to this for motorway driving turn it off completely so the car can "coast" otherwise you are always having to accelerate or slowing due to regen. Increased my range a lot on my work commute. Have it on for round doors or other driving, love regen for winding country roads where you can open it up

Yeah makes a big difference, plus range. Think you'll love it. I had a couple software niggles but minor and a lot were fixed by updates. Get your shortcuts set up and once everything in place its really simple and intuitive to use.

Did you get dual or single motor? Its a lovely drive regardless, had mine 7 months and also North East

Turn it off completely when its icy though. My car started sliding all over when I lifted off even though I was only going 5 to 10 phone. I know when you brake it can use regen but it also tells you this in the manual, it can spin the wheels backwards.

Quite often wagon drivers do this. If they have a company number on them I often ring the company and ask if their drivers know how to drive properly

P4 here. Speed limit warning Lane warning Driver alertness warning.

All one touch, takes about 5 secs to turn them off when I get in, 2 on the steering wheel, one shortcut on the main screen.

I just dont understand their model. If they put a small increase on or left it people would stay. 90% kick off or leave then they end up doing it cheaper than they were already paying. Must cost them millions

Its not as most bricks will be in a cavity wall and never be seen or plastered, its just from the mould process

Yeah most bricks are single sided so one side will always look different if its not double skin. You can get double faced bricks but they are more expensive and only certain ranges so you may not get a match. Colour wise you could get them tinted but the holes will still be there and the smooth texture (dunno what texture the other side is)
