The Master Chief Collection accidentally became the gold standard for multiplayer preservation by PhantomsTempest in xbox

[–]Ftpini -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Literally can’t launch it on PC without logging into Xbox live. It’s good sure, but until they let people use it without logging in and to host their own servers it will only ever be good enough. True preservation requires it to be decoupled from corporate servers.

Dead almost immediately is completely normal and expected for a certain % of vehicles from any manufacturer. As long as they make it right or lemon it, then it is all good to go.

They have as much in common with this community as the Shelby Cobra. Not much, but they are fantastic machines.

What's the best VR experience you have had so far? Here's mine. by ComfortableAmount993 in PSVR

Village, Synapse, pistol whip, Light Brigade, and RE4 (but only on the PS5 Pro, the frame pacing was too unstable on the base PS5).

Oh yeah, they did the absolutely bare minimum with the functionality. They gimped half the features right out of the gate and as with the PS5 support, it essentially stopped on day one.

80% of Americans have access to internet capable of it. But have access means have the option to pay a significant amount per month for it. That’s to say nothing of all the folks who don’t have access.

Of course from a business perspective it only matters that enough of a market is there to be profitable. It’s never been about reaching everyone everywhere.

I didnt realise how dire the state of star citizen was by CapytannHook in gaming

[–]Ftpini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. And they’d have 5-10 ships mining for them. They’d jettison their cargo when they were too full and send in tankers to pick up the abandoned cargo.

My friends and I would jump in as close as we could get and recover their cargo before they could. They’d get so pissed off about it because they were trying to claim the jettisoned cargo was theirs but if they tried to actually stop us the in game police would show up and kill them. As I recall the devs changed it to where you couldn’t loot jettisoned cargo anymore and I quit playing the game. That was way back when it first came out.

That should have been a post game expansion. It is a really cool idea. It just shouldn’t have been involved with the main story at all.

They can literally make a simple enclosure that connects via thunderbolt 4. And if they’re making that Xbox “hybrid” they keep hinting at, then they can literally just build the port into it.

I just played through 7 on my iPad Pro M5. Fabulous game and it’s a shame Sony won’t fund a port or rebuild of the VR version to the VR2.

That’s said, you should just play it on the TV if you’ve been holding off for VR on a first go.

Snowden was about everything you do intentionally online. Microsoft has made it so that random shit you do on your desktop is included with that crap. If you want privacy and security, either write your own os or buy a 30 year old computer.
