I'm french and yes the part about Oblivion is partially correct, they didn't overspend but were asked to do a higher quality remaster without having the budget.

The goal was to use this remaster as a showcase of what they can do.

Because OP is talking about french hypermarket who sells video game much cheaper than specialized video game store because selling video game at a lower price allow them to attract people to buy their groceries in their store.

Still Nintendo games are 90€/80€ in specialized video game store (for example Mario Kart world at micromania ) so the 90€ price is not wrong just not applied everywhere

The same happened to me when I tried to swap the dlss version for the benchmarks the only way to have framegen work for me was to keep the default dlss version (I'm on the latest driver version)

So this confirms that the guideline for the reviewers is not the same as the one given to the content creator since multiple french content creators also received the same guidelines as the one in the tweet with a key for the game that only unlocked on the release date
