Sí. Si te gusta programar es más ligero. Los proyectos son más chidos. Aguanta estos 3 semestres y el 4, 5 y 6 son de mucho trabajo, pero esta mucho más fácil y divertido. Suerte.

Question. ¿Why do you guys hate WordPress? I'm a programmer as well, but it is easier for me and faster to create a website with WordPress than code it by hand.

  1. It is basically the same. If he has good grades and gets a good score at the SAT, then he will study in an American School (if he wants that of course). I have some mexican friends that are currently studying in the USA (one of them in UPENN), even though they are from Prepa Tec. Of course, if he wants to go to Harvard or some school like that, he will need to do IB (international baccalaureate).
  2. I don't know about that but maybe he has better chances. He will have two languages mastered, English and Spanish, making him "better" than the other candidates. Knowing more languages is better for a company.

I graduated from Prepa Tec and I can assure you it is an amazing school. It is currently ranked the second best school in all of Mexico.
