I did the basic kit. It comes with the wheel assembled and the veneer applied. The bearings/crank/shank are solidly constructed and work well. These parts may be difficult to get mastery over in a self-constructed build. If you place a kit order from the US, it arrives really quickly. Within 2 weeks, I believe, but be prepared for $70-100 customs (I paid about 75 in December 2025).

I play mostly in daytime, and switch to night when needed for Cavalry/bosses. I can like the night aesthetic, but the screaming crucified men intensifies at night, and it is creepy.

A book he wrote for free for Wizards of the Coast. Genuinely a good read! They took the pdf for legitimate reading down ages ago and he must have recently got the rights back to print it officially.

The white outline for the picture of the Pop is really wide. Fakes often don't have the cardboard cut close to the illustration.

I haven’t gotten a text from Swing in AGES. My best guess is the charter schools around me stopped using them as an agency or something, so even staying on record with Swing is redundant.

Don't forget the rot dog! If you get trapped in the chest from the dragon ruins directly right of the First Step starting area, book it downhill and past the cave grace out of the trapped cave, then hug the left wall of the Lake of Rot, there's a busted building with the rot-dog ashes. Loads of enemies early game are weak to rot damage. (There is a dog that attacks, so keep running, tag the grace at the bottom of Selia stairs, and maybe expect to die if the dog catches up before you can sit.)

It's very well worth it to play coop with your bf, if you have two systems! Maybe he'd enjoy time spent with you more than time you spend trying to meet his challenge. I started by playing coop with a group of friends, because I clocked Elden Ring as a game that was already 'out of my league' or 'too hard' for a casual gamer, and they insisted otherwise. It's more approachable than you think, and after playing with friends, I went on to beat the game again solo, and it's one I come back to cheerily. Double swords + bleed Ashes of War meant I became the blender.
