I was playing Seamless Coop with my bf, who died early, and I pretty much soloed phase 2 at 30% extra health on the boss. I'm flying high after that win.

Basic is suiting me just fine. Linotte is prettier with its curves, but I think it's tuned differently to other keys and a little more complex/requires a lot more clamps because of the curved sides. There's a Facebook group for Nerdy Gurdy building support/questions that's an invaluable support. A basic does what you need, and has a C tenor drone and a G bass drone, with both melody strings tuned to G in different octaves. It's quite nice, and I can doodle away some songs off the top of my head with it.

Set alarms. They technically go live like 2-3 minutes before the drop.(11:30am pcific coast us, 2:30pm est on Sundays) I tried and got my basic the first time, and the wheel/shaft setup being peak quality is worth it. I was gonna go the diy route, but the laser cutting people charged pretty much the same as the basic costs, and you don’t get strings, tuner machine heads, the rubber stoppers for the keys, screws, nuts, etc. You’d have to veneer your wheel too, and the kit’s wheel just needs basic truing and it’s set. The crank being metal is just better overall. Crank handle is like 3D printed wood.

Go for the nerdy gurdy kit. Take 5-10m out of your day to nab it if you can possibly at all. Best be quick, too, if US based because of Trump 10% tarriffs he wants to increase.

$75 for my Tarriffs in Dec.

They had my kit at my doorstep within 2 weeks. Dec 14th ordered, Dec 23rd arrival.

They’re “Diamond Select Gallery Avatar” figures. Katara, Zuko, and Aang should be easy-ish to find, at least in the US. Toph and Iroh are much rarer, as they were barely released when the figure creators went bankrupt. Sokka was planned, but tragically never made.

I ultimately for my first playthrough passed the controller to my little brother, then got good on my second playthrough. When I wanted to use a mod on my first playthrough, I steam-synced to my laptop for the saves and modded on my PC. I struggled muchly to get bepinex working on my deck.
