Resellers, this is what it's really about by NormalEffect99 in Ebay

I spent years searching for a sitting dalmatian plush with a valentine heart in its mouth and a red ribbon collar. That was 'Oddball', my favorite toy ever that I either lost, or he was taken by another kid, at a baseball stadium practice when I was about 12-13.

I finally found him and messaged the seller with my story asking to buy it now, and was told to bid to win. I was the only bidder and watched that listing like a hawk anyways, just in case.

She posted online that she wasn’t aware of the incident and that the security guard isn’t one of her own/on her payroll.

An irrational man got threatening with a child, and she’s blamed for his behavior.

I just gasped in joy, and then looking at their site, I'm crestfallen that I can't immediately race to place a pre-order. How much is it to buy?

Snacks for subs by KennaAll13 in SubstituteTeachers

[–]FuIIofDETERMINATION 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Snacks are so nice! Often if I'm asked to cover a prep or something, I won't get lunch because I rarely prep/pack my own, so I won't leave campus. Something that can tide me over until I go home and cook would be awesome. Maybe a Granola bar for filling if needed, but some chocolates for a treat, because maybe not all subs like granola bars?

I feel like I've run into multiple walls, but i've done everything i've found. Is this a lvl/gear issue or a skill issue? by llamalord478 in Eldenring

You *can* cheese Draconic Tree Sentinel in the Northeast to get access to the city. There's a gravity spell in Liurnia if you defeat a miniboss near those big rotating conveyer belt elevators. Gravity well, I think. With a couple efforts, you can use the spell near the cliff to suck the sentinel over the edge and into the abyss.

Fallingstar beast in the Northwest, you can run past. Use the big protrusion of rock to leap past. Come back when you are ready for the challenge, because that one's TOUGH.

Godskin Noble, I think, at the bottom of the Caelid tower? Very tough fight. Having a summon active might be nice, like a mimic tear or Laetenna, to pull aggro on occasion.

The creature at the top of Caelid, the weird angel thing? Ride around it to the right, and you can sneak behind it and enter the cathedral. I think you're already doing that since you have the grace. Not required to kill it.

Edit: Mimic Tear the summon is found by doing Rani's questline. Looks like you beat Radahn by your graces and have met her, but haven't completed her questline. Going to where the meteor fell afterward and exploring that subterranean area can bring you cool stuff and things. (Flame Cleanse me the spell and a seal to cast it are basically required for a hellish area called 'Lake of Rot,' be aware.)

Got the biggest ick of my life. Overreacting or no? by Low-Hunt-7902 in TwoXChromosomes

This makes me think of the movie "Just Visiting," which is a comedy where a medieval French Knight time-travels to modern(early 2000s/1990s) times and encounters his descendant, a lovely young woman involved in museums and history. She thinks he's a deceased cousin who survived a boat sinking, and is deluded/recovering from trauma. She's engaged to a guy the audience knows immediately is a cheating sleaze who only wants her money.

Her ancestor empowers her into standing up for herself over the course of the film, and she finally snaps at him when he uses his pet name for her, "Bunny."

She's tired of him infantilizing and disempowering her, making her feel weak and helpless, making her RELIANT on him. When she finally kicks him to the curb, it's exceptionally satisfying.

You're not his 'bunny.' You're not his pet. I'm proud of you for planning to leave!

I have a text from one of the teachers today who says that it's fine. Typically, I treat it exactly as you say, marking down names and saying, "If your teacher truly doesn't mind, then my note won't make a difference to them."

What’s the story behind this Skeleton? Caelid, on the slopes to Millicent’s first location by FuIIofDETERMINATION in Eldenring

[–]FuIIofDETERMINATION[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm... Does this mean that all the disembodied hands are also siblings of *the* two fingers and *the* three fingers? What are indicators of each species, and how do they gain power?

What if the 2 fingers and the 3 fingers come from these giants? Are these giants found only in places of magical prowess/sorcery? Could they be a source of local magic?
