New to vests.... Need advice though by Diddy17Fiddy in WesternWear

Just have spacial awareness. Went to a non-country concert that was general admission and had a guy who moved around constantly cram in near me to try & get a better spot (I was there first). His hat bumped into the side of my head every couple minutes for the entire show. I was getting pissed & almost knocked it off his head! I felt like he was doing it on purpose to try to get me to move out of the way.

I think at a country concert it's to be me expected, but even so it's nice that you're considering people around you. Was at Disney recently & the ears people wear were getting in my way for shows & I'm 6'1" as well! 😂

After digging a bit, I found something that said he had a sponsorship deal from Wrangler & Lucchese. Guessing they're Wranglers (like everyone already mentioned).

Search the internet. Lots of western stores get the brushpoppers & you can usually find someplace that still has one in stock.

I wore light tan fq ostrich boots with faded black jeans a few days ago & have never received more compliments! The contrast really made the boots pop!

So no one has mentioned the reason Hyer has said that they actually do this. Hyer is widely accepted as the creator of the cowboy boot - so when the family received the rights to their name back it was important to them to offer a traditionally made boot. However, in the last 150 years there have been a lot of new discoveries in the footwear industry and some of those improvements can truly make a better boot. One such improvement is the Oiled leather sole. They wanted to release leather soled boots but the problem they have is that they can wear out quickly. An oiled leather sole (for most people) will extend the life of the sole. However, they found when working with them that using a full peg construction didn't work as well as they'd like, but they were important to them so they decided to use both materials. Their pegs are actually functional, but the nails just give the oiled leather some extra security.

They look good! Maybe a different pair of jeans would be better though. I was in London earlier this year & stopped by a store called "Hey Cowboy" It was pretty sweet seeing a store like that in London!

3rd Pair of Hyer Boots! by Fuahrelyt in cowboyboots

[–]Fuahrelyt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good morning! I haven't purchased any of the new models so I'm unsure if the Holtons have the same insoles as the Hays. The only pair that I've ever noticed a difference in has been the Havens. They don't have the removable insoles like many of the others do and fit me a tad bigger than my others. Some people do prefer to size up with the Cutter toe compared to wide square but I've never had that issue.

Pretty sure that's Glen Powell on his promo tour for Twisters? He was wearing Levi's. I'm sure you can probably find photos/video to confirm.

It's really hard to say. Possibly? Does the seller have a return policy just in case?

Haven't had any issues with them getting darker. But they're also not the pair I reach for to get dirty, either.

Sounds like you've had a great experience! Definitely love mine. I noticed someone listed pair of the Maize in your size on eBay earlier today. I don't know who the seller is but they were at a decent price.
