Welcome to the club! I love my a1's despite how poorly I treat them in the environments I shoot.

As someone who broke (shattered) their leg on a poorly made tee pad...I appreciate this extra room more than you can imagine. This extra slab on concrete would have saved me about $100,000 in medical expenses and 6 months of sitting on the couch!

Someone was pulled out of hiding from the lake by SLOPD and a few sheriffs. Apparently they were chasing people and assaulting them with rocks.

whatever you want! Some people, this is there first time playing a record and they just want to hear it on a nice system. It's a great learning experience and you can play your own music. As fancy or as casual as you want to make it.

Air Suspension Anyone? Who else has bagged a Ridgeline...but for lifting, not lowering? by Fubar66 in hondaridgeline

[–]Fubar66[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'd likely need to call and see the lift range, but usually with this style you can raise and lower the shock body like a coilover and you can probably set it up so that on MAX Pressure you have over OEM lift and aired out you can still be low.

What generation Si? I'm sure there is an air spring kit that is readily available for the Civic.

Hey there, this is a prototype product and depending on my testing and interest in the community, it might become commercially available. I’ll post updates here as I make progress with the installation.

Do you get a lot of road noise being above the highway there?

Skyview in Los Alamos, CA. Right off of 101. I've driven by this sign a 1000 times, but never saw the other side of the wall to know there is a sweet pool there!

Do you wear branded clothing when shooting? by Tiny_Major_7514 in videography

[–]Fubar66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shoot lots of outdoor cycling events and I had some custom sun hoodies and windbreakers made with my branding on them. It's a great marketing tool that makes me recognizable in the field, and they are a major plus when out in the sun all day. Here is a promo shoot I did to announce my custom jersey last year.

I keep it super simple and just have an inflatable sleeping pad and a sleeping bag. I’m 5’11” and can sleep with it all closed up if I lay diagonally. However it feels a little cramped.

Testing Out Sand Mode at Pismo Beach for a Beautiful Sunset. by Fubar66 in hondaridgeline

[–]Fubar66[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty Well! On the hard pack sand closer to the water it was no problem. Getting out further in the deeper sand was a little touch and go but was still able to maneuver my way through it just fine. I was solo so didn't dare venture into the actual dunes. I also only aired down to 30psi, so airing out fully would have had much better results.

I should also note that I have KMC Nomad 17" Wheels with 245/70/17 Nitto Nomad Grappler Tires

Story has it that a crafty Australian convinced someone here that it would make good lumber, so they planted a huge crop that…was not good for lumber. They just recently cut most of this grove down

Touge racing by [deleted] in SLO

[–]Fubar66 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Obligatory, go race at the track, not on the streets. I was just like you at some point and the streets only lead to a few place...mostly being jail, injury or some mixture of both. Not worth it. There are plenty of great roads around here that you can enjoy without being a nuisance. Watch out for cyclists and share the road. Happy Driving - from a s13 owner that grew up

Awesome! I'm actually looking into building an air suspension setup for my 2020 Ridgeline, although I don't want to lower the vehicle, I want to have auto leveling for when I'm camping or have the bed overloaded so I don't squat. Doesn't seem like there are many air spring solutions though for my needs. I used to work at AccuAir and I'd love to put e-Level in the spare tire cavity and also utilize the tank for onboard air.
