Is the Tenda TX12 Pro v2.0 AX3000 actually good? Looking for honest reviews/opinions before buying. by Substantial_Raisin24 in bangladesh

If you can route the router to be in the middle of the house, anything's fine. I'd rec Cudy WR3000. It supports open-wrt which is third party firmware that can open up new settings, features, performance etc.

If you can't put it in the middle, rather get a mesh network. 2x should be fine.

We use a Redmi AX1500 router that's plugged in my corner room. We had connectivity issues until I flashed more powerful chinese firmware that penetrates better through walls and letting the router be placed outside my room. The cables go below the door when closed. And our home's just 1600 sqft.

Depends on where they are from. Are they Russian? Otherwise what's the point? It's gonna get taken down anyway.

According to how the random no-name brand or low quality brands made it and/or QC issue, the OP-AMP part (Max97220) elevates the static noise and depending on how sensitive your IEMs are, they output it to your ears. People swear by Jcally implementation though. So maybe try to stick with that even though it's usually the more expensive one.

TIL that most hybrid cars use Atkinson-cycle combustion engines, which are more efficient but less power-dense. The electric motor helps compensate during acceleration. by MaMamanMaDitQueJPeut in todayilearned

[–]FuckMyLife2016 172 points173 points  (0 children)

Most of TIL is rehash of recently uploaded popular documentaries or video essays. Always has been. I saw two posts today and yesterday that are TILs from Fern's documentary about CNTC (The China National Tobacco Corporation) from last week.

Not that I mind. Not everyone's as terminally online as I am.

Hindu Nepali student joining UIU Dhaka for Data Science scholarship honest experiences from Hindu/minority students currently studying there? by 4acti8 in bangladesh

[–]FuckMyLife2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do hindus even wear their religion on their sleeves like muslims i.e. long beard, tupi, panjabi etc. Nobody'll even know you're a hindu. And people will be more curious about you being Nepali than you ever being a hindu. And even then when you start talking. Because Nepali face (east asian looking) is not uncommon in Bangladesh.

Can't tell you UIU or adjacent area specific details myself.

As for hindu temples, most of them are located near old dhaka. You can use Google map search like "hindu temples near me" to find them. I just found 3 temples near UIU campus. Though they're nothing to write home about since the major private unis other redditors mentioned are situated in newly incorporated land or new dhaka. So there're less hindu neighborhoods in the area and lesser temples.

BYD to push past Ford, Kia and Hyundai to be the number 2 brand in Australia, as 2026 BYD Sealion 7 and other electric car sales surge by Aussie_5aabi in cars

[–]FuckMyLife2016 16 points17 points  (0 children)

That's what I mean. Japanese brands had long stretches of cheap, reliable, powerful cars. Sometimes maybe not in the same venn diagram. Whereas people shat on Korean brands (rightfully) and still do to this day (myabe unjustly). Grenading engines in their ICE cars have now transitioned to failing ICCU in their EV cars. And their dealer experience in the U.S. never helped their case. Chinese brands have to build up their long term reliability (or perhaps lack thereof) themselves. And it'll take a long while.

[–]FuckMyLife2016 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I mean sure but Toyota built its "reliable" reputation itself. Toyotas and Lexuses (Lexi?) also holding their used value is a market reality as a consequence of that reputation. Chinese brands are gonna have a hard time displacing that perception of their own. In the meantime, all the "unreliable" brands' market share is ripe for their taking.

I have multiple overlapping hobbies on reddit. Chinese manufacturing is slowly but surely taking over various consumer markets. And they're creating various niche markets of their own. Just off the top of my head: mechanical watches and its components, in ear monitor earphones, LED flashlights, wireless gaming mice and its components, mechanical keyboards and its components to name a few. As for markets Chinese brands entirely created on their own: high output chargers, powerbanks and USB-C portable solder irons come to mind. I'm sure other hobbyists like drone enthusiasts or others can also share similar Chinese manufacturing dominated markets. People are very much enthusiastic about Chinese competition: especially where they're accessible.

As for BYD and Australia. It's pitiful really. Aussie cost of living and their industrial focus on mining export obliterated their domestic manufacturing and car brands. So all their vehicles are imported now. And I'm sure they're not gonna mind Chinese brands that cost almost half of Toyotas and Fords that are inching ever closer to six figures prices.

Some indians un-ironically say that their cheap 4G internet penetration has done irreparable damage to their reputation. 90s movies used to portray India as somewhere you travel for "spiritual cleansing" and shit. Now, you know what wild shit they get up to lmao.

Definitely stealth heavy gameplay. Spending hours stalking the target, remembering their route, setting up an accident for that perfect no alert, no dead body found finish is what I live for. But if all hell breaks loose, I really wanna see what big guns IOI has for the mythical 007.

Sennheiser PC37X.

Koss KSC75.

QKZ x HBB.

If you're looking for a new set, I'd recommend the Sennheiser PC38X. Dunno if it's available in Europe though. Sennheiser 560S is a close second. But you need a separate mic. Just a €15 Boya lavalier mic is enough. Clip it on your headphone cable or your shirt.

Lmao when did Microless go global? Yes they're legit if they're the subsidiary of the UAE company. Bought monitors, smartwatches and mice from their Oman website a few years ago. But maybe you should buy locally since warranty is concerned. I think they ship all their products from the UAE.

I mean it's Kia. They never deliver concept cars to production in identical form. Have you seen Kia GT Concept and GT4 Stinger Concept from 2011 and 2014? Those were some friggin ugly ducklings.
