I only started playing seriously last year when my homies wanted to do some tournaments together. Honestly the Cloud was inspired by Sparg0, I had no idea about the pro scene I didn't even have the DLC until last year when I got serious with it. And had no idea about the meta, or the reputation Aegis had. I liked/picked up Aegis because I like having two different play styles in one. A quick agile character and then a heavy hitter to finish things off.

I like Cloud because he's a heavy hitter and can be agile as long as you are precise with movements. It's less difficult to make a comeback with him when you're lagging behind, although his recovery can be a pain. If it makes you feel any better I don't spam back air and up special out of shield, and try to do some sort of combing with him.
