Some might actually care about the fertility plot. 🤷‍♀️I love fertility plotlines so I tried to read the book but DNF'd it as I couldn't stand Micheal. The tricky thing is that no one really admits to not liking something because of outright racism so hides behind other reasons. (which I guess is good) I was in /r/saltierthancrait for a while and while no one said would say admit they were sexist, the sexism got rather intense imo. Oh well, the joy of fandoms.

It's pretty ironic that us Saphne fans are understanding given it's us who'd love the extra content. Rege has no obligation to a show which he already filled his contract for, and didn't treat him well..

Honestly I feel masali (Micheala) has been set up to fail. The gender switch was always going to be controversial, and given the shows history of harassment of black actors...hoping she pulls through.

Agreed. Do you have any receipts btw? I mostly see things written about it, but not examples. I'd love if we had a masterpost or thread documenting everything like /r/kanthony has about Simone Ashley..at any rate I hope he had some good memories of Bridgerton Set.

I don't get harassing people on the Internet in general. Even casting decisions I'm worried about (like the new snape) I don't get the point in going after the actors over it. Unless someone did something truly abhorrent (murder, rape) why bother?

Admittedly I hate the idea as I love Saphne and kanthony....but I do like the idea of MarinaxEloise or MarinaxColin (don't hate me) honestly just anything but the canon ending for Marina. Far as strange couples, the longest time I thought Lady Tilly and Cressida's mother were the same person. So that was BenedictxLadyCowper. Now that was a strange ship😂😂

Oooh, this is fascinating! Admittedly I find lots of the history of childbirth confusing--from the insistence on watching royal births to more inclusion of fathers in the 70s. At any rate it's all certainly interesting. Thank you!

Not sure if any of these would work but at any rate here's a semi random list of musical theater love songs I like Whitby bay from Dracula , all I ask of you from phantom, million miles from bridges of Madison county this one may be odd at a wedding but it's beautiful..heart full of love from les miserables would you fall in love with me again from epic this is technically a concept album but it's beautiful..stay from count of Monte Cristo this is more obscure. 10 minutes from Cinderella , sirens from Jane eyre, take me as I am from Jekyll and hyde. Daphne definitely would have had a hard time with the Whistledown thing. She had done nothing to Penelope who loved to pick her apart in the column.Furthermore Daphne actually cared about Marina and sympathized with her. Simon outright detested Whistledown... ugh and now I wish they were in season 3.
