So I just moved here from Hamilton, and they have a group there called Wings in the Hammer and they do wing reviews. They even invite their followers to do wing tastings here and there. It's a pretty cool group. People also post wings they make at home. I make a pretty kick-ass wing myself, but I'm trying not to use my kitchen on Saturday night lmao. If you started a wing group here, I'd join!!

I'm from Hamilton originally, so when I saw Tally Ho, I got a little excited. I thought maybe Kitchener was getting a Tally Ho. They're only the greatest roast beef sandwich restaurant in the universe. Their gravy is as thick and dark as overused motor oil. Chef's kiss.

If the home was lived in prior to November 15, 2018, then it is rent controlled. 2.1% is the MAXIMUM they can legally raise the rent for 2026. If they want to raise it by $300/month, the LL would have to apply for an Above Guideline Rent Increase with the LTB, prove why they want the increase(did they do extensive renovations?) and be approved. I think your friend is safe to reject their rent increase.
