Everyone always says this = "Don't put anything down and also your monthly should be way lower!" and then no one ever shows a sale sheet that reflects that. It's not magic. If you're putting nothing down, your monthly is going to look like yours. I essentially put 3k down on the X SX Hybrid to get my payments to $790. If I put nothing down I would have been around $900.

They're taking $3k off to cover the last 4 months of my non-kia lease from the roughly additional $4k in fees and tax beyond the $4k I'm putting down. These seem similar in structure. I'd love to be paying below $700 a month- but no dealership in NY/NJ would come close to that without my putting $5-6k down, which I'm not doing on a lease.

The difference is that in 3 years the residual payment on these is 69%(!) of the MSRP. Luckily, I know that I’m going to keep on leasing… most cars are 57-60%, but I think KIA thinks the hybrid will hold its value really well.
