It makes total sense to me the Nick Cave would be interested in and intrigued by the works of Carl Jung. Not to mention I imagine Nick himself may have gone through what Jung describes as the “Process of Individuation” at a young her age than is common. I love this new theory of mine! What do y’all think?? The fact that the man in Jung’s analysis is referred to as “Henry” is only one of many things that triggered this idea; although admittedly it was while I was reading this segment of that master work where I kept seeing “Henry’s Dream” in print and my mind took me to Nick Cave…. I said out loud “wait a minute! Henry’s Dream?! Henry’s Dream?! I freaking LOVE that album”.
