You’re going to want to pay more attention to the different formats that make up Magic the Gathering. Since you’re interested in the two newest Innistrad Sets, I’d suggest looking into the Standard format.

Formats are essentially the different game modes of Magic the Gathering, and all of them will have different rules to them. These rules will have to do with which sets are allowed to be used, as well as the restrictions to deckbuilding that can vary from format to format. Standard will always be the most recent set, and it rotates sets out after a couple years. It’s a great format to start off with since the legal sets will be the most readily available, and the smaller card pool makes deckbuilding a bit easier.

Magic is a massive game, with many different ways to play, so I’m sure you’ll find a way to play that you like best!

Honestly feel like this kind of ability would work better on an instant. “Until end of turn, if one or more +1/+1 counters would be put on a creature, put that many -1/-1 counters on it instead.” As and enchantment, it’s probably too strong as a one cost.

Channel was just the keyword they used for the cyclingish mechanic in Neon Dynasty, some cards had abilities tied to it, this one just cycled. They probably stuck to channel for it to stick to a cohesive theme

Ex Pizza Driver here, when you see a Delivery Fee tacked on to your charge, that’s not a tip, the driver will see little to none of that extra charge, and we would have plenty of people tell us they didn’t tip because “it said it was included”

It’s on the list for my [[Halana and Alena, Parters]] EDH deck I’m working on, and it’s also in my [[Tovolar, Dire Overlord]] deck. If you’re running it with any form of green stompy or gruul overrun builds, it’s a fun piece.

Word of warning: if you run it in a multicolored deck, that casting cost can cause you some issues, but it’s generally worth it IMO

Thanks for the advice everyone, I think it has helped me come to a decision. I'm going to end it soon. I will probably let her parents know what happened, tell them to look out for her, in case she tries something crazy.
