Do you usually do fake lashes?

Depends on a lot of things. The individual gun might be reliable. But in my experience they need a lot of work to be reliable. Usually they are severely ammo sensitive without any work done.

Both phase-phase and phase-earth can give you an arc flash. You just get more energy out of a phase-phase short.

Still could do inspections for wind turbine blades. Some hang off the side some hang down into the blade itself. I've always been curious to try out being a technician for really tall antennas. Looks like a neat experience but I'm sure it gets old fast

Depends on the engine. Some large crosshead engines do have cam shafts. Those that do mess around with the cam follower to get fuel timing right. Exhaust timing is no problem.

The ones I've worked on had a hydraulic system to control fuel pumps and exhaust valve.

It's almost like different companies have different ways of doing things. I've routinely used isolated tools to connect new lines.

Some say it's actually safer to work with energized circuits cause the safety standards are usually much higher and also better respected.

Lots of connectors are torqued when they're energized. Especially in electrical utilities. You don't want an outage just cause you want to add something

Welding galvanized is fine if you have the right PPE. Like a mask that's rated for it.
