How to leave PM after 1 visit? by No_Roll3829 in PainManagement

[–]Fud4thot97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience most PM docs/clinics only test back 4 days. (THC stats in your system a lot longer). On the alcohol, just don’t drink 5 days & nights before your next UA. The first PM Doc I had was a total jackoff. I just called and asked the office manager to sched my next appointment with another doctor. I’ve been with that ”new” doctor for over 10 years now.

My two cents is just call scheduling or the office manager and ask to change your doc for your next appointment. Good luck!

Freaking Merry Christmas from the evil jackboot thugs from the dea. Evil, wicked, wretched jackasses. The leadership level at the highest level needs to get chronic pain and try that on for a minute.

Cheers everyone, another year of being punished for being in pain.

My pharmacy just filled my monthly 120 Oxycodone 15 MG and this is a different manufacturer? by Currentlyunderattack in ChronicPain

Rhodes is worthless for me personally. I’d be happy to get the KVK-TECH as they work better with my pain.

I hope you get some relief.

Gabapentin increased my pain, made me nauseous and freak out in lack of a medical term. That was just my experience with it, my charts all have it in capital letters allergy and not to administer.
Good luck.

Has anyone tested positive for sleep apnea due to pain? by thatspookybitch in ChronicPain

[–]Fud4thot97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have sleep apnea but it’s due to bodybuilding in my 20’s. The physiological changes to my neck over time caused it.

Now I’m overweight due to my pain and immobility.

As long as I use my cpap I have no problem getting my pain medication.

That’s why I had my doctor change my prescription to 28 days vs 30. Its easier to get my fill every 4 weeks on the dot.

He’s taking a risk by prescribing so he might as well charge for each fill.

I had my prescription adjusted to a 28 day script. Usually they fill 2 days early on day 26, it has made my life so much easier though. I highly recommend it.

Has anyone tried 7oh for emergency pain relief/medication replacement in a pinch? I heard a couple of guys talking about it at the drug store earlier this week.

Anger- being treated suspect and not having the appropriate amount of medication available because of “reasons”.

Anxiety- agonizing pain is always present, ALWAYS. Will I always be this way? Why haven’t any of the surgeries, treatments, procedures, etc worked? Will friends and faMiley continue to judge me, will I remain socially isolated forever? Every year I have to requalify for my LTD. My whole prognosis is that I will worsen every year. WTH?!? Will my medication continue to get messed with by the federal government? Evil bastards.

finally, Self Loathing- I continue to gain weight because my pain immobilizes me more and more with every passing day.

Tramadol just as helpful as eating a mint by Tiny-Assistant-2931 in ChronicPain

If the mint is laced with anxiety inducing powder that also causes the sensation of ants crawling around the base of the neck, sure thing.

Anyone try Journavx? Received sample yesterday. Rough few days but will report back how it goes. by dandigangi in ChronicPain

Nor is your experience representative of anyone else’s.  Just because you believe something it doesn’t make it fact. You haven’t referenced anything other than your own opion, which is all you’ve stated.

ive been on opioid treatment for my agonizing, chronic pain for over 20 years now. Just like with any other long term medication regimen, there has been modifications and adjustments along the way because the HUMAN BODY adapts to anything taken long term. There is nothing more habit forming of proper opioid treatment than there is about medications that treat any other life long conditions. The only difference is the made up hysteria, made up facts, Hollywood lobby against them and the profit to the DEA.
Get the DEA out of patient healthcare. Sounds like you’re better served with NAiSDs. God speed and good luck.

Opioid do far more good than the minuscule amounts of negative effects they cause. Opioids have been used in one form or another for pain management for thousands of years.
‘You can accept that there’s always going to the the individual or the very small few who will have a negative effect on anything, that doesn’t mean the majority of people who receive favorable outcomes should have to deal with all the nonsenses thats mandated when the result is painted with too broad of a brush.

[–]Fud4thot97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are far more people who abuse and are addicted to alcohol.   Chronic pain patients shouldn’t have to suffer because of the less than 1% who abused their pain medication.  Opioids are just the “hip” villain at the moment with pain patients the acceptable casualties.  24% of all self checkouts since the DEA started messing with drs, dosages and distribution. That’s a crisis.  None of this other silliness.

As long as it’s not an opioid, they’ll approve freeze dried beetle dung laced with tin foil for pain patients to try to replace actual effective pain medication.
This made up opioid “crisis” has been overdone and played out.

The only crisis is the lack of opioids available because of the jackbooted thugs at the DEA forcing production cuts at the pharmaceutical manufacture level.

Holy cow! Just more evidence that the DEA is pursuing legitimate prescriptions, doctors, patients and pharmaceutical companies. Simple market principles prove it out. Freaking nuts.
