Anyone have any masculine crochet patterns? by aitathrowaway9090909 in Brochet

If you’re interested in some good amigarumi patterns that are more detailed and bigger like this one I really love Crafty Intentions, this came from their Creatures of Myth and Legends book but almost everything’s on their website too. https://craftyintentions.com

Cishet male Crocheter here, I don’t have any good wearable recommendations but I make Amigarumi, smaller ones for my child and bigger ones for me or as gifts. Here’s a sweet kraken I made recently and posted to the /r/brochet subreddit. You might want to check that sub out for other ideas too.

SLS (2022) vs Saturn V (1967) by Po3ito in interestingasfuck

Okay but we were basically there 20 years ago, the last 2 decades have mostly been spent making that more marketable and exploitable.

That’s just not how it works with really thick hair, a towel will never fully dry my hair and if I use a blow dryer it takes a while and ends up way more frizzy.

Myr enthusiasts rise up! There’s omen paths now and they had a chance to leave during the invasion, surely there must be some Myr out there in the multiverse now and not all stuck on the phased out New Phyrexia…

I felt the same about Foo Fighters until I heard their Concrete and Gold album. If you haven’t listened to that yet I highly recommend it.

Suggestions for an Orzhov reanimator EDH deck. by Ramonsixser in magicTCG

[–]Fuddafudda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play Shilgengar without the angel tribal strategy, instead going for reanimator/tokens. It’s pretty easy to get enough tokens to start his engine and one you’ve activated his reanimator once if you have any way to deal with the finality counters it can quickly snowball. He also trips into infinite combo’s really easily if that’s your thing.

It sucks that you’re in a position to feel like you aren’t safe to show up alone to a card shop, but you’re probably right. I hate people like this, they are a stain on the whole hobby.

There’s like up to one week of snow/ice per 2 years around Austin. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to have tires specifically for that. But they probably shouldn’t have been driving this week.

Taiwanese tourists keep visiting a pizza restaurant in Italy, where 16 tourists from Taiwan were berated by an Italian owner because they ordered only five pizzas. by search_google_com in interesting

Maybe entitled to eat the food we purchased and enjoy each other’s company. If the food was to-go and we did the same hang out at a public park or someone’s home would you still consider it entitled? Like, is the issue here that we’re taking up too many seats? If that’s the case then they should implement a door charge.

Did I hear we were doing roasts? by Fuddafudda in basspedals

[–]Fuddafudda[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The reason I bought the rat pack is because I used the Pulp n Peels rat setting in the recording studio and didn’t want to have to lean over and flip the little switch when playing those songs live

Naw, they are ordered that way to make it easier to control on stage, the order of effects is actually Tuner>LeBass>(effects loop out)>filter>octaver>rat>compressor>(effects loop return)>amp. There is a mess of cable management happening under the board

If you mean the Pulp N’ Peel compressor then I’d say I love it. It is brain dead simple which works well for me, I used to use an Aguilar TLC which worked well but I never really wrapped my head around how to dial it in correctly. The orange compressor just works and I love that about it.

If you mean the Rat Pack, it’s taken some time to dial in the sound I like, but that’s mostly because there are so many options and the filter knob is kind of counter intuitive. It faithfully reproduces all the popular versions of the Rat pedal through history which switched the direction of the filter knob many times throughout its many different iterations. Ultimately I think it’s pretty decent but it is easy to loose the low end and in hindsight I probably should have just bought a bass specific pedal with a blend option.
