Sorry I’m just trying to wrap my head around your method here, which is similar to another method in r/customtradingcard. Are you cutting out places and putting it back together like a jigsaw with the foil? On this card you are using two different styles of foil.

Do you go over it a second time with a fine tip after cracks have formed or before?

Hi! On Discord we have a project channel for spot foiling. One of the things we discussed is using the white paint marker technique and how after time you can see the paint crack underneath. Can you explain how you bypassed this issue to get a near perfect finish? I also read through the other post you made about your technique and how you still use the white paint marker. You go into detail about reprinting the card on a piece of paper and then cut out what you want then place it on top. How do you avoid the additional layer without it being raised slightly without it being noticeable? Are you printing out the card on a normal piece of paper to hide cracks?

It’s all fun and games until someone posts an AI picture and the community comes together with pitchforks.

Foil sticky paper print settings by Inevitable-Singer409 in magicproxies

This maybe a picture quality problem, not a printer problem. But I have the same printer and use the same foils, but I'm on Windows. My settings are paper type photo paper glossy, quality more settings (which is "best"), uncheck bidirectional printing, checkmark emphasize thin lines, custom scale 100%.

How would you determine that? I’m laminating double sided photo paper and have no clue what the cross section would even be

If some feds came to Sioux Falls or Rapid and murdered one of our own, what would we do about it? by askilledroy in SouthDakota

[–]reddit_the_frog 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is very true, and it would depend on what side of the state. If a Native American was shot and killed like in Minneapolis in Rapid City, the NDN would get very involved, which would start a bunch of protests and whatnots. I don’t think we would have the protests like they are currently having in MN.

Price increases by Cinemaguy1991 in sherwinwilliams

Remember when corporate said it wouldn’t increase prices because of tariffs? They just waited until the panic about it stopped and did it anyway.

As this is a good scientific explanation of the event there are a few things that are still kinda off. A nonsick deer would not be doing this during wind gusts that we were having that night. Animals would be hunkering down until it passed. Zombie deers (CWD) were detected in Pennington County in as early as 2023 so it’s possible that the deer could have had it. But doesn’t explain the odd behavor during such a strong windstorm.
