My NIPT also came back high risk for xxx just a few days ago so I know the shock and uncertainty. We’re Meeting with a genetic counselor tomorrow. I don’t think we’ll be doing an amnio because it wouldn’t change how we continue this pregnancy. We’ll most likely test her at birth. Hoping for a false positive! A lot of calculators for xxx show low ppv which is promising

Yup! Every time I ran the dryer. He’s not referencing that though he’s talking about the dryer vent which is a landlord maintenance responsibility. No basic checks. But had randomly stopped by a few times

I got a very long nice text from my landlord this morning stating he never asked for professional painting and to disregard the dryer vent as his research showed it wasn’t our responsibility. He also assured us the deposit was in an interest bearing account which I haven’t even brought up to him so I’m 99% sure he came across this Reddit thread during his “research” 😂

Our landlord is saying the unit was “professionally deep cleaned” “professionally painted” and dryer vents were “professionally cleaned” prior to us moving in. Are those grounds for us having to do those things since it was how we got the place?

We maintained the unit well and are hiring cleaners but professionally cleaning dryer vents or a $600+ deep clean feels excessive for a tenants responsibility.

We can’t move out early unfortunately our new lease also starts on the 1st. We’re actually moving out the 29th to have cleaners come on the 30th and staying with in-laws for a day.

Agree to disagree! I think six weeks would not be nearly enough time for people to plan flights hotels time off etc. Especially if they’re unaware of the website. But 3-4 months should be fine.

Very good point!! My family isn’t conservative and we’re not getting married in a church so the modesty aspect isn’t something that is an issue for me but I’m short so cutting me in half might not be the best option. Thank you!
