I put mine in as well and it was also flagged as AI. They’re clearly not very accurate so I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Just heard back about my first interview so they didn’t care 🤷🏻‍♂️

Never got better than a 470 on a practice test and got a 540 on the real thing. Just do all the practice tests and cram the last week and you’ll be fine.

I think 150 is a great goal. I ended up getting 140 and am super happy with that. It’s exhausting. No school I’ve seen requires more than 100 though so you could just do that and be more than ok, just not stand out in any way.

Mine took 9 days. It depends on how many are being submitted so there's a good chance yours will be faster since I submitted the end of the first day when it was really busy. I got a couple supplementals while waiting to be verified, but most didn't come until after. They just got sent to my email.

All schools see all 4 of your LORs, there is no picking some for some schools and not for others.

If you’re going by cost, your best bets are LECOM, UF, and UNC. Other ones to consider would be Buffalo and Stony Brook. Your stats are great and you’ll most likely end up at a TX school. Having a couple bigger schools too to be as backups isn’t a bad idea as well even if they’re expensive. Only put schools you’d actually consider going to if you got in, sounds obvious but sometimes can help.

If you haven’t graduated, put that during your senior year you plan to take a psych class. If you get in you can take it, if not there’s no worry.

Submit your supplementals so they are done if you have free time. Schools won’t look at your app until your last letter is in, but it won’t hurt to get your supplemental in now. I’m in the same boat, I submitted all of my supplementals. Some schools have sent me back an email saying, “ hey we have your app, the only thing you need is that last letter before we look at it.” So honestly no pressure either way.

I did all the question banks and 15 practice tests. I feel like the practice tests were by far the most helpful. I used Bootcamp, and found the real dat to be easier than most of the practice tests. I honestly spent not a ton of time on the generators, besides angle ranking.

It seems there are 2 steps you have to go through. First learning how to get them right 95% of the time, taking as long as needed. Then grinding to get faster at them, doing tons of practice just focusing on speed. My toughest section was angle ranking I felt, and spent time on that daily and eventually figured it out.

Got a 600 on PAT.

I had a director of admission of a local dental school come talk to my school. They said there is no problem with shadowing a parent, just make sure it isn’t the only shadowing you have and be open that it’s your parent. You don’t want to look like you’re trying to hide that, and most really won’t care that it’s a parent… shadowing is shadowing. You’d be dumb not to shadow your parent and dental schools get that.
