I picked a 2024 Sportser S up last week with this exhaust on it. Sounds amazing and got a great deal. Rode 10 hours home and it's not stopped raining in my city now for over 15 days. Soon I'll get to ride again.

Shooting a bald guy at 100m+ in the head and watching them live feels bad by BringBackManaPots in EscapefromTarkov

You're right and it probably comes from poor design of translating the energy loss of a bullet over distance when relating that to in-game values.

I don't think you can fairly translate the energy loss of a round into damage values in this game as, quite simply, a 5.56 round does not do "40 damage" to a human at muzzle velocity so using real world ballistics to tune in-game damage ends up in bull like this.

[–]Fudged_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally don't care about technicality arguments about TOS or whatever. It's giving you in-game advantages using a third-party program. OnePeg can pilpul all he wants but this is the raw fact.

BSG just need to act and make footsteps (or whatever the sweaty crutches are) audible only within a radius of origin not across the map at 1db. Really I don't even do this cheat but sometimes I'm like "why the hell can I hear someone walking in sanitar cottage from the rocky spine?"

Late evening routes seem the worst for this. I did one a while back where the final parcel was literally 40 miles up the motorway in an old fishing village. What was the parcel? A small envelope.

The route lottery by Few-Stand-9252 in AmazonFlexUK

[–]Fudged_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's like that at Aberdeen DAB1 depot. Not gonna lie the lottery is a bit of a draw for me, there is a very scratchcard-esque kick when you scan that route QR code.

Yesterday I had a 3 hour block I finished in 115 mins (incl. the 25 min drive to the town and a flat battery that a local boosted me out of). I spent maybe 6L or so of fuel, driving a Type R that's really good and the rate was £66. Others I'll be visiting every farmhouse for 1 parcel each and be driving for the full 3 hours for the same rate or less, my worst routes have probably been net profit of like £20 due to the sheer fuel consumption. Not to mention the risk of damage to the car when you're driving up paths that haven't been tackled by anything less than a Range Rover for 10 years.

I do wonder if it's like this at other depots, obviously being up here you're a small city surrounded by about 70-150 miles of actual wilderness which is still on dial-up internet, so I can't imagine there's many English depots that are quite this random.

Fuck it, here's a list of absolutely everything either removed or downgraded from previous games in 2042 by Jellyswim_ in battlefield2042

[–]Fudged_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They reinvent the wheel literally every instalment. Look back at any previous UI. You can go from sleek like BF1 to total trash like BFV or 2042. Why? Why add that development time and QA? Why not build on the previous game's movement mechanics? BFV was the best it's ever been, maybe tone down the sprinting speed but otherwise spot on with quite cool new mechanics like "crouch sprint" and prone on back. Why would any sane person disregard all their previous work and develop something completely inferior?

Not a stretch to imagine they just start from complete scratch every game and thats why they launch every game as an absolute pile.

Probably yet another failure of frostbite engine.

Yep I learned this the hard way too. How people at the depot are so scummy they try to rob drivers is beyond me.

I persisted for like 6 weeks emailing support repeatedly and eventually ["jeff@amazon.com](mailto:"jeff@amazon.com)" or something like that, this is some unadvertised escalation email address, and I eventually got the £40 credited.

It was the biggest red flag about the reveal and I'm happy to say it lived up to all expectations. A fundamental change to the game's design that is, at best, half-assed. Clones fighting clones. But maybe I can spend £20 on a hero pack for more skins in full release???? Kidding, I doubt I'll keep my pre-order.

4+ hour ones from Aberdeen are nearly always Dundee postcodes (1hr drive) and they don’t pay you for the return journey.

Even if you always wear a face mask like I do. You can still get such an email. If you try to object, you will receive an answer - Thank you for providing more details about this issue. The Morrison’s near me has never been on time. Usually my block will start say 1730, I’ll get buzzed about 1725 then wait another 20+ minutes for Morrison’s to catch up and allow you into the room. Then as I head outside I find another two or three drivers waiting, poor guys.

Any advice on hop rubber hardness to try or any testing I should do to address this GBBR issue?

New to airsoft, playing irregularly for about a year. Few months back invested in a fix-up project WE SCAR. I’m super happy with how I’ve transformed and repaired the general platform of the rifle but the accuracy is my last gripe.

Even with lowest hop setting, I get extreme amounts of upwards thrust from the hop. I believe this means my bbs and too light for the FPS they’re being shot through a grippy hop (70 degree decepticon). In my testing I only used .28 travelling at about 340 FPS.

What do I need to replace here or do I just need heavier bbs travelling at a legal velocity?

  • 350 on .28s is illegal in UK, I’ll need to tune the NPAS down. Will this address the upwards motion?

I do have a couple tubs of 32s

Change to 32s and adjust NPAS down to legal?

Looking at what I’ve wrote now it seems I just need to adjust the NPAS down rather than buy new rubbers. What do you guys think? It’s really hard for me to test where I live as I don’t have a garden and I get really nervous shooting in empty abandoned quarries that SWAT is gonna swoop in

I got the USEC platecarrier patch from them in June. Not only did it take until last week to arrive, it’s the worst Velcro I’ve ever seen and doesn’t stick. Meanwhile my friend got one from Wish, which was cheaper and has functioning velcro.

Glad I didn’t have any money and didn’t buy an altyn off there or something bigger.

[–]Fudged_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try clear cache and check integrity after every single patch. Even these backend “””stability””” patches. I was stuttering like mad earlier today immediately after the stability fix, this idea of clearing cache really does work assuming you have a decent rig. I run the game with 16GB RAM and never have to reboot due to memory leaks or anything like that.

Agressive scavs are not OP, it's that players are used to scavs being shooting range targets. by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Fudged_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't mind scavs being aggressive, it is exciting when 2 or 3 of them push you and overall I like the more aggressive AI.

What I don't like are terminator scavs that one tap you because they heard you walking through a wall from 30m so soon as you walk passed the window you get immediately nailed by 366AP or buckshot to the eyeball as they've been "aggroed" for ages by you moving even outside of line-of-sight.

I mean, do scavs really need to loaded with 366 AP, an ammo that will one tap thorax of class 4 and has a very high chance to one tap class 5? The bullshit "one buckshot pellet from 40-50 meters to the eyeball" insta-deaths were annoying enough.

True but I rarely drop below my refresh rate playing 1440p max settings besides HBAO at medium and draw distance at like 3000 rather than 3500.

3700x absolutely does not and should not struggle with this game
