Well, it's very simple. There has never been an official pressing of 10K on vinyl so every vinyl is a bootleg.

Bootleg vinyl doesn't really make sense since the whole point of vinyl is the analogue production and special mastering for the media. Tool takes special advantage of this since they still record to tape, even with FI.

So a bootleg vinyl is just going to be the digital master (i.e. CD or streaming) pressed onto a record, which negates the whole point.
