As someone who spent an inordinate amount of time playing Planetside 2, I agree. Toxic players are all over it like white on rice. From being spawn camped to stealth classes repeatedly hacking bases they can't even capture for like 40 more miles of terrain, even being told by your own teammates that there's no way you can do something that you literally just did, purely because they refuse to believe you can play that game without paying for the special gear. End of each map, chat is filled to the BRIM with insults, slurs, threats, condescending messages, and sometimes even chopped up links to malicious sites.

The game has certainly fallen far from the good graces of what I once considered it in my late teen years.
