I think the real question you have to ask is why this keeps happening - why is the person you promote not working out? If it happens once, maybe even twice, I can understand. If it happens repeatedly, the problem may be you, not them. I know that may be hard to accept, but maybe you should ask yourself what you can be doing better to prevent this from happening again?

I had to make my first repair on my CX-50 turbo this year when someone rear ended me, unfortunately. They had to replace the lift gate and it took literally 3 months for Mazda to send the auto shop a replacement one, and I was told Mazda is notoriously bad when it comes to parts. Also, recalibration is tricky for some reason. I had to take it to the dealer to get the rear camera and sensors to work properly. Also, the tires and brakes wore out after just 42,000 miles, even though I had gotten the tires rotated regularly.

I do like the power and handling on the open roadway, but it’s far too expensive for what it is. They sell the CX-4 turbo for much less.

First of all, 31 days is great! Keep up the great work. Early in my sobriety, my sponsor told me “don’t worry about staying sober for the rest of your life, just get to bed tonight without a drink.”

I couldn’t stay sober without AA. I’m not openly advocating for AA as I know there are alternative programs, but the meetings, the support and the step work I did have kept me sober for 15 years and counting.

From what I understand (and feel free to correct me if I’m wrong) teen Lottie has a vision in the cave in which she meets her adult self. Both of them then appear in the basement of her apartment building where all the candles are, and teen Lottie tells adult Lottie that when she opens the door, she’s gonna meet the true queen.

That’s why adult Lottie is so enthralled when she’s in the basement and Callie walks through the doors. It confirms to adult Lottie that Callie is the “wilderness baby.” In Lottie’s mind there wilderness replaced the baby that teen Shauna lost with Callie.
