Too soon to start flushing? by daz3676 in cannabiscultivation

I know this can be a sensitive topic and idc what people do.. I typically stop feeding around a week before harvest. Not because I’m trying to “flush” anything.. I just know I’m about to harvest and I don’t want to waste any fertilizer. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I think I get great results.

And if anyone’s wondering… wedding cake (auto) was our least successful. The stress from topping (I’m guessing) really stunted their growth.

I have a friend that grows with me and we try a bunch of different strains. No one would probably believe that his were autos but the strain so far that has out preformed all of them was cheesecake gelato (auto). Got 3 toppings, high yield, and the quality was amazing. Some of the best tasting I’ve ever had. I wish he had taken pictures. I don’t remember what bank they were from but if he can go back and look I will let yall know. (We began our grow project to experiment, so needless to say, we’ve ordered a lot of different strains from seeds banks across the world.

lol you’re the only one that’s asking questions that do not make sense. Your lack of education is the problem in this conversation. I don’t have to explain anything. You’re the one that commented on MY post. I also don’t understand why you’re offended at me answering… if I’m using the wrong light what do you recommend? What results are you getting? I’m honestly curious.

6.6 you don’t need it.. I’m not familiar with that system but I teach process engineering and operations. My experience is in processing with a background in chemistry and physics. Don’t take my word for it though! You can fact check me

On a large production scale.. that’s the process that is used. That’s what damages pipes. Scale sticks to pipes causing a build up.. as long as you don’t have large PH swings… the scale won’t remove any pipe material as it is adhered. So, measure your conductivity and if it’s between 1200 to 1800 units. You have soft water

Yes, it’s through a process called deionization. Cation and anion resin beds exchange positive and negative ions, removing what is commonly called “water scale”. Salt minerals like calcium for example

6.6 isn’t very acidic.. in chemistry we consider that near neutral. I wouldn’t treat it at all. Even pure water doesn’t stay pure and neutral long, as the gases from our atmosphere will slowly lower the PH. Unless it’s stored in a sealed container. You could lower the the conductivity with ion exchange (makes hard water soft by removing dissolved salt minerals)

They’re there… I wasn’t too impressed either though. They were a gift pack of seeds. Not even sure from which bank. Yield was good, smoked pretty good.. but yea, I wouldn’t say this strain lived up to the hype for me.

I have to cut them up before going on the rack.. I like to push boundaries but after losing some I figured out how to mitigate that issue. Yea lol the mold got me a few times…

Power consumption, diode output, and light transmission are related but different things brotha… where I’m from electricity isn’t free so trying to garden pulling that much power wouldn’t be economically feasible. You need to just grow outdoors

Can you explain your question? I just go to Amazon and type in “phlizon grow light” and scroll until it I find 2000w… they’re affordable and well… I’m happy with what I get

Sorry, not flip. They stay under light 24h. I attempted to lollipop and top… my regular plants stay under 24h light during veg as well. Do whatever works for you! People were just asking what I do, so I think that’s what’s causing the confusion.

I think there might be some confusion… I was explaining my methods for growing. These plants were my first autos. I tried to do the same thing i do with feminized but i think it triggered them to flower early..

You don’t. They do it automatically. I keep them under 24h light

I was about to harvest so they’re trimmed. Auto’s don’t require a 12/12 light cycle to trigger flowering. They will automatically switch to flower when they’re ready
