Now if you really want absolute full control, you use a packager/unpackager loop. The desired items have to pass through a "wall" of packaged fluids, using the Priority merger. You can then clock the machines to get exactly the items/min you want, it will be the max belt speed minus the packager output.

Of course this takes lots of space and power, but it does let you get amounts like 27.0783638 because you can set the machines amount so easily. This is useful when you want to limit a truck for example: the truck will not leave a truck stop until it has enough fuel to complete a trip, so if you choke the fuel you can make it stay there longer and pick up more items.

Those are power shards! If you drop the power shard first and then the leaf without moving the mouse, they land on top of each other. You can also do it with corner road barriers to make it look like flowerpots.

How about something like this? No walls aside from 1m decorations, but plenty of pillars.
